"A Distant Memory" is the 7th episode of VOID Paradox. It premiered on November 4th, 2018.

Summary[]
The episode starts with Tommy being backed into a corner by two thugs. Modzilla steps in, and he ends up taking a beating from the thugs before they leave. After Modzilla tells Tommy that Aphmau and Laurance arrived back at the lab, Tommy speeds off. Meanwhile, Laila is testing Aphmau’s reaction time while she is tied up when Tommy and Modzilla enter the lab. Tommy and Aphmau check up on each other while Laila theorises that by killing the Alter, they can free Aphmau from it’s possession. Aphmau informs Modzilla that Laurance ran off to find the Alter, and the three in the lab stop Tommy from running after Laurance.

Meanwhile, Laurance is in the forest trying to find the Alter. Zane (Minecraft Diaries) appears, silent and with small void burns on his face. Zane and Laurance fight, which leads to Laurance stabbing Zane. Zane collapses and disappears into fire. Laurance becomes frustrated and demands the Alter reveal himself before he decides to head back. Back at the lab, Laila unties Aphmau when Laurance walks in, revealing that he didn’t manage to find the Alter. Modzilla is relieved but tells the group that nobody can go running off again. He puts Aphmau and Laurance on guard duty while he assigns himself, Tommy, Polly and Laila to work on finding out everything they can about the Void.
Night falls and Aphmau, Tommy and Laurance leave the lab. During discussion, they settle on finding a hotel for the night. Once they settle into a hotel room, Aphmau and Laurance speak while Tommy sleeps. Laurance expresses worry about his world being in danger, with Aphmau still trying to comprehend the danger of the void, seeing the fire as a tiny glimpse of its capabilities. Laurance suggests they get rest. When everyone is asleep, Aphmau’s void burn spreads further up her arm, reaching up to her sleeve.
