"A Talk with Shad" is the 6th episode of Minecraft Diaries Season 3 and the 206th episode overall. It premiered on November 30th, 2016 and re-uploaded on February 26th, 2017 on Aphmau Fantasy.

Summary[]
Zane, seeking information of the whereabouts of his fragment, disguises himself as a villager and asks Brendan about Irene. Brendan ends up boasting about how cool he is so Zane proceeds to attempting to find a different person. He finds Leona, but she starts sniffing him. He leaves the conversation in fear of being discovered. He goes into Donna and Logan's shop and overhears Donna and Kenmur talking about where to find ingredients for a meal Kenmur is making for Emmalyn. Donna tells him that there's some at Meteli and asks him how Emmalyn's research on the fragment is going.
When Kenmur leaves, Zane follows him. After Kenmur leaves for Meteli, Zane asks Emmalyn about Irene. Emmalyn lets him in.
The episode continues at the Yggdrasil forest where Levin and Roco sneak off to find Rose.
Meanwhile, Zoey is setting up a barrier so that Aphmau and Shad can talk without him being able to harm her. Aphmau tries to learn more about Shad, but he refuses to tell her anything. He gets a flashback to the day when Irene gave the relics to him, Esmund, Kul'Zak, Enki and Menphia. Once the flashbacks ends, Shad disappears.
Back at Pheonix Drop, Kenmur returns home to find Dante, who informs him that Emmalyn has gone missing.
