Alfredo is a member of the crew on Garroth's ship, and a supporting character in 'Mermaid Tales'.
Biography[]
He first appears in "The Heart of The Sea", asking Captain Garroth numerous stupid questions until he gets so frustrated that he has Alfredo thrown in a cell under the deck. He somehow gets out, since he's next seen dropping the anchor of the ship and scaring Aphmau away.
When Garroth celebrates his new deal with Prince Travis, Alfredo questions where he got the ale. He tentatively asks if Garroth asked to put the price of all the drinks on Aaron's tab, and he's thrown in the cell again. Later on, he's asked (along with another crew member) to go find Aaron and bring him back to the ship.
Him and the other crew member find Aaron (and Aphmau) in a cave, though they didn't expect him to be there. The other crew member notices Aph in his jacket and gets the wrong idea, but Alfredo just says he's lucky, since Aph is cute. They bring him back to Garroth's ship, and he notices the flower crown in Aaron's hair, which makes him feel.. happy. He's thrown back into the cell again for interrupting Garroth twice more. Later, he interrupts him from the cell again, and Garroth orders someone to give him forty lashes.
In "Love At First Sight" he's thrown off the ship after nearly foiling another of Garroth's lies. He stays there until Garroth laments not having a chef for Aphmau and Travis' date, and he yells up that he can cook. He's brought back on deck and instantly introduced as the crew's top chef. Unfortunately, he doesn't even know where the kitchen is..
He fishes for something to cook for the date, finding Zane at the other end of his hook. Despite Travis wondering if it's edible, he assures it's fine- until Aphmau insists they let the crab go, since she can't bear to see a creature of the sea harmed. He's hesitant to, excited to make crab bisque, but Travis orders it. When Travis is pulled overboard, he claims to have seen a sea witch, and suggests that the crab cut Travis' hair.
In "Aaron Flirts", Garroth sends Alfredo out looking for Aphmau to return her to the date.
Once she's back and ready, Alfredo finally serves them their dinner. His skill in cooking is proved when both Travis and Aphmau enjoy the meal, and he's extremely flattered to see Aph in particular enjoy it so much. He claims she 'acts like she hasn't eaten before', not knowing she's never had human food. He serves her a second helping at her request, and Travis figures she must really enjoy seafood. When she asks what seafood is, he goes into gratuitous detail about descaling the bass he used, causing her to throw up.
He's last seen shocked along with everyone else to see mermaids on Garroth's ship.

Alfredo has dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He wears an open red vest with silver buttons, two bracelets, torn black pants, and brown boots.
Personality[]
Alfredo is an extremely dumb, but well-intentioned individual. He's very proficient in cooking and quite flattered when he's complimented, showing a bit of humility. He lacks the ability to read the room or discern when someone is fibbing the truth on purpose, since many times he nearly messes up Garroth's lies to those around him. He also cares little for punishment, since being thrown into a cell, and even being thrown off the ship don't dissuade him from speaking up.
