Brian is a main character and the secondary antagonist in Minecraft Diaries: Rise Of Phoenix Drop.
Biography[]
Brian (formerly known as Ryan) is the son of Dale and Molly and older brother to Alexis. His father, Dale, sent Brian to guard training when Brian was old enough. When he returned, Molly noticed that her little boy was different from when they had sended him off. Brian became one of the guards of Phoenix Drop.
On the day of the war against Scaleswind, Aphmau discovers that Brian was a spy working for Zane, using a communication amulet similar to that of Dante's and Aaron's to communicate. He does this without regard to the fact that Zane hurt his little sister Alexis. He kidnapped Nicole and hid her for three days, provoking the Lord of Scaleswind to declare war. He exposed himself as the traitor by opening the gates and allowing Scaleswind's forces to invade Phoenix Drop.
After 15 years, his status is currently unknown.
Appearance[]
Brian has somewhat tanned skin and dark blue eyes. He wears a grey guard uniform with navy blue sections. He is usually seen wielding a stone sword and iron shield combo and often accompanied by his dog/wolf Grey Wind.
Personality[]
Brian is friendly and alert.
He also doesn't give up on family.
By the end of Season One, Brian is found out to be the traitor of Phoenix Drop, the one who kidnapped Nicole, the one who ratted them out, and the one who opened the gate behind the scenes. He was known as "Velius", the unknown spy on the communication amulets of O'Khasis. Most believe something happened to him when he was in the academy.

- Brian was born in Episode 12 and in episode 42, he told Aphmau that his father shipped him off to guard school once he had become a teenager. This means Aphmau has possibly been Lord for over thirteen years, as time in the Minecraft world moves differently from ours and people grow up faster.
- The name Brian is an english name, and although the meaning of this name is not known for certain but it is possibly related to the old Celtic element bre meaning "hill", or by extension "high, noble".
- His alias Velius is of Latin origin and it means ''concealed''.
- In earlier episodes, his name was Ryan instead of Brian.
