"Cat Ear Day!" is the 17th episode of the third season of MyStreet and the 77th episode overall. It premiered on November 5th, 2016.

"It's cat ear day at the maid cafe! Zane has a crisis, Kawaii~Chan shows off a new shirt, and Aaron gets a visit! Busy day!"
Summary[]
Zane and Aphmau are doing work at the maid cafe when Zane starts to groan for attention. Aphmau ignores him, humming to herself while she sorts through papers, only for him to continuously get louder and louder. She thinks he's sneezing, giving him a 'bless you', and getting him to yell that he wants her attention.
She teases him for it, calling him whiny and asking him what's the matter. She tells him he can take off the cat ears if he wants, explaining she's only ignoring him because it's the third time he's complained to her today. He argues he'd be the only one without the ears, reiterating he hates them.
Gene mocks him for wanting Aphmau's attention too, asking if Zane's actually going to do his work, or if he has to do it. Aphmau starts to scratch his ears, making Gene purr as he's petted. Zane gets jealous of her giving him attention, Aphmau calling Gene her best friend since now.
Zane starts to cry, before it's revealed it was just a dream and he's fallen asleep on the job, only to be woken up by Gene. He yells at Gene to stay away from his best friend, Gene brushing it off and getting back to work.
Aphmau stands at the counter chatting with Guy, thanking him for helping them get set up. He insists she did it by herself, complimenting the shop and how cute it is. He asks where the t-shirt is, wanting to see the design.
Kawaii~Chan comes out in the tee, Guy amazed by how cute it is and saying Nate will be jealous of the color. He says he has a movie date to get to with him, excusing himself from the maid cafe despite wanting to stay for Cat Ear Day. He poofs out, Aphmau swearing she'll learn to do it one day.
KC asks if they're ready to sell the shirts, excited to be on the shirts. When Aph lets her know they're already ready, she squeals and runs off to make special treats for the occasion. She asks Zane if he sees how happy KC is, and he replies while almost zoned out. He asks if everyone has to wear the shirts, relieved that it's by choice. Before he can continue, Damien butts in and says he'll wear it, denying that it's just because it has KC on it. Zane calls him needy, offended when Aphmau accuses him of being the same way. She teases him, confusing him and making him run after her.
Aaron approaches a table, ready to take their order, when he notices it's his sister Melissa. She insults his cat ears, teasing him for his job, and tells him that their mom and dad sent her. She orders her food, surprising Aaron with her not talking about why their parents sent her.
Aphmau comes to the table, questioning why she's there. She compliments Aphmau on being a powerful female entrepreneur, rambling on about franchising the maid cafe. Aphmau says she doesn't want to expand so much, Melissa brushing it off and saying she wants to see how things are going. Aphmau offers to pay for her food, Melissa allowing her to while Aaron goes to get her order. Melissa compliments her cat ears after Aaron's left them alone.
Aaron starts to exasperatedly prepare Melissa's order, Garroth approaching and asking why Melissa is there, and why she isn't working on a project with their families. He finds out that Aaron's had a long conversation with his family about it, and that his parents sent Melissa after him for it. Aaron complains about Melissa giving him the evil eye while he works, Garroth complaining about how the kind of pressure Aaron's under is why Vylad stays travelling by himself.
Damien comes to Ivan's table, gasping and almost panicking when he realizes who it is. Ivan treats him like a long time friend, making Damien nervous and asking why he's there. He asks for his order, Ivan telling him not to be so formal since they used to be friends. Damien interrupts him to establish that they weren't really friends, and that Ivan wasn't really nice to him. Ivan ignores it, ordering a black coffee.
Aaron delivers Melissa her order of a coffee and a pink cherry cheesecake. She loves it, immediately asking who cooked it. Aphmau mentions that she made it, Melissa begging for the recipe so that she can make it. She asks if all the food is made by Aph, being told it's a collaborative effort, and that she doesn't make everything- mostly helping with sweets. Melissa says she wants to propose a business offer to the cooks of the cafe, Aaron aggravated with it while Aph is excited.
After work, Melissa gathers Garroth, Aaron, Aphmau, Gene, Laurance, Kawaii~Chan, and Zane. She explains the Lycan family business, and how it's an entertainment company. She introduces a cooking competition show she directs, The Diamond Chef, adding that it's a collaborative effort with the Ro'meave corporation. She goes on to say they're having trouble with finding competitors.
Zane doubts her, saying there's tons of top tier chefs who could go on the show, shut down immediately. Melissa wants to spice things up by asking talented local cooks to compete, which is why she's asking the people at the maid cafe, desperate because Aaron won't help.
When she asks who wants to be on, KC immediately offers, along with Laurance, and Gene. They're judged by Aaron, Melissa cutting him off and making him and Aphmau join, everyone else too. Melissa says it starts only two days from now, Zane continuing to belittle her efforts until she cuts him off and enthusiastically encourages them all to practice for the show.

- The tune Aphmau is heard humming at the beginning of the episode is the beginning of "We'll Be Forgetting This", which is the theme song for season 3.
