"Don't Tell Him!" is the 6th episode of 'Mermaid Tales'. It premiered on July 29th, 2017.

Summary[]
Far from the barrier, Katelyn and Teony find themselves lost. They run into Titanus again, and though Katelyn tries to speak in his language, she fails and they're rushed by the shark and forced to swim away.
In the cave, Aaron starts to wake. He thinks Aphmau isn't there anymore and that she was just a dream,- that is, until he sees that she's cuddled up to him. Flustered, he slowly moves away and assumes she's just strange and was cold. Zane pinches the back of Aphmau's neck to wake her up, which she mistakes for Aaron doing it. She's shocked to find her meeting a human wasn't a dream, and almost tells him that she's a mermaid. Zane stops her and makes her repeat after him, though he's just as bad at lying as she is. When Aaron inspects her head for injuries, Zane leaves her to fend for herself.
Aaron decides to bring her to Garroth's ship so she can get properly looked at and properly clothed. She doesn't follow, and tells him that she doesn't know how to 'swim' like he does. He realizes that she can't walk, and won't carry her. She offers him a flower crown that fits his head, and he tells her he'll wear it if she can get over to him and put it on him. Aphmau fails over and over again to stand, let alone walk, prompting teasing from Aaron. He refuses to help her, though, waiting for her.
While hiding from Titanus, Katelyn and Teony bump into and scare each other. Just when they think they're safe the shark shows up again, and they're sent fleeing into a cave. They discover it's the same one Aphmau hid in, as flower crowns with the very same weaving pattern she uses are on the ground. They decide to rest while they wait for Titanus to leave.
Back in the cave, Zane decides to stop watching Aphmau and go report back to Tavari. She finally manages to stand, and Aaron gives her advice on actually walking- which she does, for a few steps. She falls, but this time Aaron offers to help her since she seems to understand the basics of walking. Aph puts the flower crown on him when he comes near, and they get ready to leave. They're interrupted by the two members of Garroth's crew that came looking for him who, once seeing Aphmau with his jacket on and nothing else, get the wrong idea about them. Aaron tells Aph to not tell anyone she meets where they go about anything- just to let him do the talking. With him helping her walk, they set off to go meet Garroth at his request.
At the tavern, two patrons fantasize about mermaids, one laughing at the other for implying they're real. Ivan interrupts their conversation, raving about how mermaids are real, how he's seen one, and so on. One of the patrons cuts him off, telling him that everyone knows he drowned Lucinda- the other lamenting that there's no proof to get him locked away for it. He insists a mermaid took her, but he's brushed off and told to leave by both the patrons and the bartender. Frustrated, he sets off for the docks, promising to avenge Lucinda... somehow.
