Enki the Keeper was one of the six Divine Warriors in Minecraft Diaries.
Biography[]
Enki was a very powerful man with a thirst for knowledge. He could conjure amulets that could trap evil within, curse books so that only a select few can read, and he created a massive library to preserve his knowledge and records on the world. He wrote limited recordings of the Divine Warriors. Enki would often write about Irene, causing scholars to speculate that they were really close friends.[1] Enki studied relics and the Magi extensively, his theory was that each relic is unique with their own powers and personalities.[2] Enki also knew something about having offspring in other ways besides between mother and father.[3]
Enki became one of Irene's guards and accepted the relic of the Keeper, bearing the burden of immortality and becoming a powerful Divine Warrior and god.[4] Enki would fall in love with Lady Irene and join Esmund with Kul'zak to banish Shad after determining that the absence of Shad, the darkness of their world, would allow Irene to love again. Shad learned of their betrayal and lost all reason, turning into the Shadow Lord. Irene and the other four Divine Warriors were transported to the Irene Dimension where they fought for ages until they finally killed and banished Shad for once and for all.[5]
After Shad the Destroyer was vanquished and banished into the Nether realm, Enki would fall into regret over his actions despite Kul'zak's noted complacency. Enki wrote relic messages in special ruins across the Gal'ruk region, guarded by magic barriers that only someone connected to the Divine Warriors could open. In one message, Enki confessed his love for Irene and apologized to her for what he did to Shad.[1]
Enki is widely recognized in the Gal'ruk region, his home. The Enki Warrior Tribe is named in his honor and the people there worship him in place of Irene.
Appearance[]
Enki's hair is a mixture of greys, and he has a fringe that almost covers his right eye. He has green eyes. Enki wears a long-sleeved black coat, trimmed with gold, and with a purple hood that rests at the back of his head. He wears black gloves and has brown straps across his chest and waist of a large backpack.
Trivia[]
- He seems to be holding the book Travis has in the flashback. It is most likely its the same book as Travis is the only one who could read it. Also, since it has a map that leads to the island (the island Hyria told Aphmau to go to) it is most likely Travis is the descendant of Enki.
- It is also a theory that Travis could be a reincarnation of Enki, as in Episode 6 Irene tells the Divine Warriors that they will live forever.
