"New World" is the first episode of the first season of Minecraft Diaries, and was uploaded on March 11th, 2015.

Summary[]
The episode begins with Aphmau standing in front of a little hut in the woods, holding a diary. She introduces herself and gives an explanation of the series, as well as giving some info about Season 1. She then walks to a table where a new diary lays open.
Two guards, Garroth and Zenix, are standing on the edge of the village, discussing the passing of the lord and their lack of resources. Aphmau finds and chases Vylad, then he is attacked by Garroth but escapes uninjured. Aphmau walks through the village for a minute to find the well, in which many of the villagers are trapped.
She takes some carrots from a small farm and chops down a tree. She goes into the library to use the crafting table and crafts a sword, axe, and pickaxe out of wood. The pickaxe is used to free the villagers from the well, and Aph takes Molly, Emmalyn, and Stephanie, or "The Babes", to a small house and sets it as their home, dubbing it "The Babe House".

Dear Diary,
The Well
I spawned into a new world! Soon after, I saw somebody running through the forest. Curious, I decided to follow him, and he led me to a village. Once I was there, I met two guards. One was named Garroth, and the other one was named Zenix. They told me that their Lord was gone and the village was in chaos! How terrible. I think I might help them out. Who knows, I might even become the new Lord. In the village, everyone seemed to be trapped in the well. Being the good person I am, I decided to help them out, but a few of them were stubborn. I kind of hope they don't drown... All the Babes in this village seem to crowd around the same house, so I'll hereby call it the Babe House! Anyways, for the rest of the day I collected materials and set up my things in a house. I think it might belong to some girl named Emmalyn. Oh well, I'm sure we can get along just fine!
