The City-State of Scaleswind is located in the Southern part of the Ru'aun Region in a crater from the dent of a large mountain, which the city uses as a form of protection against invaders.

Due to Irene, being the founder of Scaleswind the City-State became a religious site and later the center of the Faith of Irene, where most of her followers go-to for pilgrimages to find peace or to worship her because of this reason any invader would be scared off to invade the city for fear of either Divine retribution or Divine intervention.

History[]

Scaleswind is a city-state of which the character Nicole is from. In the final few episodes of Season 1, she was revealed to be the daughter of the Lord of Scaleswind, meaning she was heiress to the Lordship of Scaleswind.

Scaleswind before the events of season 1 were at odds with O'Khasis and were both potentially on the verge to go war with each other in an attempt to avoid this the two sides agreed on a treaty, The treaty was an arranged marriage between the oldest son of the Lord of O'Khasis to the daughter of the Lord of Scaleswind.

However, both the Oldest Son (Garroth) and daughter (Nicole) faked their deaths to avoid the arranged marriage.

Garroth after faking his death fled and hid in Phoenix Drop as a guard. Which was part of the reason why he very rarely took off his helmet for fear of recognition.

Nicole when she faked her death was a bit more explicit, she bought a very expensive illusion potion. And using the illusion potion she made it look like to everyone that an O'Khasis guard stabbed her and thrown her into a river, with the deed done, everyone presumed Nicole was dead.

The Lord of Scaleswind wanting to avenge his deceased daughter went to war with O'Khasis.

We first see Scaleswind in "Levin's Mom", when Aphmau is looking for Levin's mom, Matilda. She finds her being kept in a prison under one of the buildings in Scaleswind.

Scaleswind went to war with Phoenix Drop since Zane told them they had "stolen Nicole" but in reality, she had chosen to live in the village a long time ago. No one in the village knew she was the daughter of the Lord of Scaleswind. They sent out search parties to find her, but they couldn't as Brian, a spy living in Phoenix Drop, had put her in an unknown prison under the old Lord of Phoenix Drop's house. They had one battle, which was in S1, Episode 99. The battle ended when Nicole was found by Emmalyn and Kenmur. She punched her father in the face and the war ended.

After 15 years, in Season 2, Nicole has become Lord of Scaleswind. In the future when her son Dmitri is of age Nicole will step down from her position, and he will become the new Lord.

Political Relations[]

Scaleswind was a place that suffered from many years of war despite paying homage to a great person who strived for peace (Lady Irene), the first as of late being between them and O'khasis. This was because both Garroth and Nicole (the son and daughter of each respective village) had been arranged to marry, and them not wanting to do so made them both run away from their families/village. Garroth had simply ran away, however Nicole bought an expensive illusion that made it look like an Okasian guard killed her, inciting a war between the two superpowers. The next incident was against the Phoenix Alliance, when O'khasis corrupted their leader into thinking her daughter had been kidnapped by their leader, Aphmau. This sparked war, however when their leader learned the truth he immediately repented, and once again waged war with O'khasis. We do not know how that third war went.
