"Once upon a time Princes and Princesses gathered from far and wide to hear what the King and Queen of a land had to say."
Summary[]
Princes and princesses have been gathered in one castle for a mysterious event, all speculating what the occasion could be. Travis, god of love, overhears Garroth and Ethan's chatter and reveals to them that the event is about romance. They're both embarrassed by the idea, though Ethan shares his overthought ideas for a dream wedding. Everyone is interrupted when the King, -- Garroth's father, -- finally comes to announce the reason for the gathering: ... None of them are married yet! Hoping to build relations between kingdoms, he gives them an ultimatum: pick someone to marry within three months, or lose their kingdom.
In a small house in the kingdom, Jenny works herself to the bone cleaning and preparing the house for her stepmother and sisters' return. Despite having done the cleaning, shopping, and cooking already, she discovers that her stepsisters have thrown out the groceries she bought and the dinner she made. She's given gold and told to return to the market, though a pickpocket takes it from her. Luckily a second pickpocket, Omar, steals from the thief and returns her funds to her. They both overhear a suspicious crier, Gene, talking about the chance to change their lives. Though Jenny is hesitant, a guard comes to confront Gene and Omar takes her by the hand so that they can escape together. At a mysterious shop run by Gene's accomplice Anna, she reveals that the offer isn't so much of a scam and that they plan to see what the huge gathering of royalty is all about, promising to explain the plan in more detail to Omar and Jenny that night.

Trivia[]
- Jenny, whose role in the series is a reference to Cinderella, first appears humming a song sung by the princess: 'A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes'.
- Omar, a clear reference to Aladdin, makes a small reference to the song 'One Jump Ahead' from the movie, particularly the lyrics: 'Gotta eat to live / Gotta steal to eat'.
- Gene makes numerous Disney references: he offers Omar and Jenny 'a whole new world' in reference to the song from Aladdin, and the scene with his wanted poster is a referenced to Tangled.
