Gene is a recurring character in the Aphmau SMP.
Personality[]
Gene is often portrayed as a punk bully who enjoys picking on others. Sometimes, he has a soft spot for Aphmau, but this is mostly to secure her as a girlfriend that he can still bully whenever he pleases, for he'll still bully her even while trying to ask her out.[1] He'll also try to marry her to make her his plaything forever, not caring who he has to hurt to accomplish said goal.[2] Despite sharing morals and goals, he doesn't get along with Ein or Pierce and they often bully each other instead. Sometimes, he teams up with Michi and/or Ivy to laugh at or pick on or body swap with their nerds. And unlike Ein and Pierce, he is mostly mean for the sake of being cruel rather than to get a good laugh from a prank. He turned all of Aphmau's friends against her,[3] stole the role of Santa Claus and put everyone in the world on the naughty list,[4] and even tried to actually kill Aphmau on several occasions.[5]

Gene has shaggy black hair and teal blue eyes. He's most often wearing a black skull-print shirt with a dark purple checkered shirt.
Trivia[]
- In "ONE QUEEN in an ALL DRAGON School!" and "ONE GIRL with ALL WEREWOLF Bodyguards!," Gene was recasted by Joshua Waters. Alejandro Saab later confirmed on Twitter that he wasn't contacted to reprise his role for the latter episode.[6]
- When partaking in Squid Game, he deliberately aims to make sure no one survives, with him even sabotaging other players and rigging the games themselves. This often conflicts with Aphmau's fruitless goal to save everyone.
