The episode begins with an outside view of the Lodge at day. Lucinda is slowly waking up.
Lucinda: (half asleep) h…huh? Kim…?
Lucinda realises Kim isn’t next to her anymore.
Lucinda: Kim! Guys wake up!
Aaron and Garroth sit up, their eyes still closed. Both of them are half asleep.
Garroth: What is it…?
Aaron: Huh…wha…?
Lucinda: Have you guys seen Kim?
Aaron: (groggily) We just woke up…
Garroth: Yeah…plus wasn’t Kim with you?
Lucinda: She was last night when we went to sleep. But when I woke up, she was gone.
Garroth: Huh? That doesn’t sound like Kim…That doesn’t sound like Kim at all!
Garroth suddenly shoots up from his sleeping bag.
Garroth: We’ve got to find her!!
Aaron: Do you know if she…like…sleepwalks or anything?
Lucinda: Maybe she just had to go to the bathroom?
Garroth: Maybe that’s it!
Garroth immediately runs off in pursuit of Kim.
Garroth: Kim! Oh, Kimmy Kim!
Lucinda: Aaron, do you think that those wolves…
Aaron: From yesterday? No…I’m positive that one of us would’ve heard something at least.
Lucinda: I just…would feel bad if something happened after telling Garroth and Kim that everything was safe…
Aaron: I mean, it is possible Kim just wanted to explore.
Garroth comes running back to Aaron and Lucinda.
Garroth: Guys! She’s not in the bathroom!
Lucinda: Mmm…maybe she got lost coming back? This place is huge. There’s plenty of halls to get lost down in.
Aaron looks around briefly.
Aaron: Alright, alright, here’s what we’re gonna do…
Lucinda and Garroth face Aaron.
Aaron: We’ll just split up and check the garage, outside and the rest of the main hall. Once we’ve cleared those areas we can regroup.
Lucinda: Sounds like a plan.
Garroth: (frantic) Let’s go!
The group split up as the theme song plays and the scene cuts to the outside of the Lodge as the logo fades in, then out. The next scene cuts to Aphmau and Zane driving down a road as the theme song ends.
Aphmau: I spy with my eyes, something that begins with ’S’
Zane: Snow.
Aphmau: Darn it, how did you know?!
Zane: (sarcastic) Oh gee, I don’t know. Maybe because it’s the only thing that’s been around for the past 5 miles!
Aphmau: Pft. Fine.
She sighs.
Aphmau: Let’s see…
Aphmau giggles.
Aphmau: I spy with my eye, something that begins with ’S’.
Zane: Again?! It’s snow!
Aphmau: Actually, it’s not.
Zane: Huh? What else could it possibly be?
Aphmau: It’s ‘S’. For ‘Sour Puss’ because that’s what you’re being right now.
Zane: Oh, ha ha. Very funny.
Zane starts whimpering slightly.
Aphmau: You ok, Zane?
Zane: Yeah, it’s just…uhh…I gotta pull over real quick…
Aphmau: Huh?
Zane stops the car and both Aphmau and Zane get out.
Aphmau: Why did we stop? We’re not too far from the place we need to be.
Zane: Because, I’m…uh…my knee was locking up and I need to stretch, that’s all! So, I’m going for a walk.
Aphmau: Oh, well then, I’ll go with you!
Zane: No! I’m going alone! You stay here and watch the car!
Aphmau: Uh…ok? Are you sure you don’t want me to-?
Zane: I’m positive! Now stay put!
Zane walks away while Aphmau scoffs. Zane walks into some trees, far enough so Aphmau doesn’t see him. To make sure, he looks behind him.
Zane: Good, she didn’t follow me. Now, let’s see…
Zane walks up to a bush.
Zane: This looks like a good place…now I can do my business.
Zane spots a bunny jumping around.
Zane: Huh? You’ve got to be kidding me!! Guh, I’ll just find another bush.
Zane walks away from the previous bush and finds a new one.
Zane: Finally, some privacy.
Zane finds two racoons near the bush
Zane: What the?!
The racoons happily shrill.
Zane: Oh, come on!
Soon, the racoons around the bush are alerted to Zane’s slightly raised voice and shrill. Zane growls as his face turns pink.
Zane: This is ridiculous! How am I supposed to get any peace?!
Aphmau waits by the car, bored out of her mind while Zane walks back. Aphmau turns to see Zane, face pink and angry.
Aphmau: Oh hey, Zane! Are you done with your walk?
Zane: (angrily) Yes!
Aphmau: Are you…sure you’re ok? You look flushed.
Zane: Don’t say that!
Aphmau: Zane?
Zane: Look, let’s just get to the cabin…or…wherever we’re going! The sooner we can get there the better!
Aphmau: Uh…ok!
Aphmau and Zane walk back into the car and resume their drive to the Lodge. Back at the Lodge, Lucinda, Aaron and Garroth have changed out of their pyjamas and are searching for Kim, but to no avail. They all regroup.
Garroth: Anything?
Aaron: No…I didn’t see her anywhere.
Lucinda: I came up with nothing as well. Not even a trace of anything she moved or misplaced.
Garroth: Oh, where could she have gone?
Aaron: Well, we’ve searched everywhere we’ve been, so, that means we have to go deeper into the Lodge.
Aaron, Lucinda and Garroth find a dark hallway. Eerie sounds start to play as everyone looks into it.
Garroth: I’M COMING KIM!!!
Garroth yells as he rushes down the corridor.
Aaron: Garroth…
Aaron sighs.
Lucinda: I think Garroth has the right idea…as creepy as this place looks, we have to remember it’s huge. I think we should split up and continue looking around.
Aaron: Maybe, but with all the stuff going on…I think it would be safer to go together when checking places, we’ve never been.
Lucinda: I know…but given the fact that Kim is missing, I don’t think we have much of a choice. We honestly don’t know if she’s in danger. The faster we find her, the better.
Aaron: Alright…but if anything happens, just holler.
Lucinda: Gotcha.
The scene cuts to Garroth searching for Kim, while calling out her name.
Garroth: KIM? KIM! Oh, no…if anything happens to Kim…Laurence is going to kill me…Huh? No, wait…did I forget to tell Laurance we were leaving?
The scene cuts to Laurance in Garroth and Zane’s house.
Laurance: Huh, I guess they went on a family vacation or something. Which means…
Laurance gasps as he enters the basement.
Laurance: I have the house to myself!
Laurance laughs maniacally as he emerges shirtless from the basement. The scene cuts back to Garroth in the hallway with his phone out.
Garroth: Huh…it’s not like I can call him anyway. There’s no signal whatsoever. Geez…I just realized this is the longest I’ve been without Internet…no…wait…KIM! That’s right! KIM! KIM, WHERE ARE YOU?
Garroth runs down the corridor calling Kim’s name, until he falls through the floor, screaming.
Garroth: Ouch…what the?! Oh man, seriously?! HELP! ANYONE!
A mouse runs down the corridor and sees Garroth. It squeaks as it runs over to Garroth.
Garroth: Oh! Oh…a mouse.
Another mouse comes over.
Garroth: ‘Missi’? Or is it Micies? Mouse’s? Hey…can you guys go get help?
The mice squeak at Garroth and run off.
Garroth: They’re totally gonna get help…
Garroth struggles to get out of the hole, grunting as he attempts to.
Garroth: I need to get out of here…
Garroth continuously struggles to get out of the hole. The scene cuts to Aaron running up some stairs, as he encounters a door. He opens it and walks inside. Aaron then looks around, where there are old wolf banners, a table with a green cloth on it, a broken glass table, old benches, a fire place, cobwebs, and an upstairs with the railing falling apart.
Aaron: I feel like I remember this…
A flashback starts as a young Aaron plays with a white dog. The surroundings look livelier. He giggles and laughs as he plays with the dog. The flashback ends.
Aaron: We stayed in this room when I was little. Kim! Kim, are you in here?
Lucinda walks into the same room Aaron is in.
Lucinda: Aaron…
Aaron: Argh, I thought you were Kim for a moment.
Lucinda: No…no. Unfortunately, I’m not.
Lucinda exhales.
Lucinda: This is terrible, how could we have lost Kim?
Aaron: I don’t know…this doesn’t seem like her either.
Lucinda: Have you known her long?
Aaron: Not really. Apparently, she went to Phoenix Drop High but…I don’t remember her being there. I was also kinda focused on other things.
Lucinda: Oh…that’s right. That’s when you and Aphmau fell in love, isn’t it?
Aaron: Yeah, it was…but…
Lucinda: But what?
Aaron: We just…after I left Phoenix Drop, we decided not to be together.
Lucinda: I see. Well, everyone has their reasons. But, hey! It worked out in the end, you’re together now.
Aaron chuckles.
Aaron: Yeah…and that makes me happier than you could imagine.
Lucinda: Hm? Uh, Aaron…what’s that in your pocket?
Aaron: H-huh?
Aaron pulls out the emerald he picked up from the boiler room
Aaron: Oh, this? I…I don’t know. It’s just some kind of jewel or something…I guess…?
Lucinda: Aaron! That’s a really rare gem!
Aaron: It is?
Lucinda: Yes! Or, at least it looks like it.
Aaron: Well…does it do something?
Lucinda: Honestly, I’m not sure. I just remember my mom talking a lot about them.
Aaron: Wait a minute…you don’t know?!
Lucinda: Heh. Well…usually I do, but even in this world there are things I don’t understand.
Aaron and Lucinda hear the sound of a car pull up.
Lucinda: Huh? What was that?
Aaron and Lucinda walk out onto the balcony to see Aphmau and Zane emerge from their car. Zane runs to the door.
Aaron: It’s Aph!
Aaron and Lucinda make their way downstairs, as Zane opens the door and rushes into the Lodge, running right past Aaron and Lucinda.
Zane: Out of my way! I need the restroom! Get out of my way! AAAAA!
Aaron and Lucinda walk out of the door to greet Aphmau.
Aaron: Aph!
Aphmau: Aaron!
Aphmau and Aaron run up to each other and hug. Aaron sighs as he and Aphmau step back.
Aaron: I missed you…
Aphmau: I missed you too!
Lucinda: Aww! Um…Aph, is Zane ok?
Aphmau: Lucinda! I’m so glad to see you’re safe as well…and about Zane…he just had to go to the bathroom.
Aaron: Does he even know where it is?
Aphmau: Probably not…
Zane finds a room that he thinks is the bathroom.
Zane: Gotta go…gotta go…gotta go…gotta go…!
Zane opens the door, to find a bedroom instead.
Zane: Huh? This isn’t a bathroom.
The door is closed behind Zane. He turns around.
Zane: What the?
Kim is seen lifting her head, her eyes having lost their highlights.
Kim: {possessed} My love…I’ve waited for you for so long~
Kim moves closer to Zane.
Zane: What the…? Kim?
Kim: {possessed} When you say my name…it sounds like heaven~
Zane starts backing away as Kim shuffles towards Zane.
Zane: Uh…I think you have me confused for someone else.
Kim: {possessed} I can never confuse you, my love…You’re the only one for me~
Zane: If this is some kind of prank, it isn’t funny!
Kim: {possessed} I can assure you my love, for you, it’s no joke~
Kim gets Zane backed up to a wall, with Zane’s face flushing pink.
Zane: Don’t you-
Kim: {possessed} Kiss me~
Zane: (shocked) What?! N-no way!!
Kim: {possessed} I love you!
Kim squeals before fainting.
Zane: Huh? K…Kim!
Lucinda enters the room Zane was in.
Lucinda: What’s going on? There was screaming, and-
Lucinda gasps as Aaron and Aphmau enters.
Lucinda: Kim!
Lucinda heads for Kim.
Aphmau: Kim! Is she alright?
Zane: She’s crazy! She tried to kiss me!
Aaron: What?
Zane: She was acting like a zombie and came at me! What the heck happened?!
Lucinda: I’m not sure…
Aaron: This room looks like it’s been lived in.
Aphmau: Haven’t you guys been here?!
Aaron: No…no…we haven’t explored the house that much. This place…someone’s been here.
Lucinda: Let’s get Kim down to rest.
Aphmau: Yeah…she looks pale…
Zane: Wait! I still gotta use the bathroom! GAH!
Zane runs out of the room, while Lucinda, Aaron and Aphmau try to pick up Kim’s body. Meanwhile, Garroth is surrounded by the mice eating cheese around him. He still isn’t out of the hole. The outro music starts to play in the background.
Garroth: Guys! Seriously, I’m glad I’m like, your new king or something, but I don’t want cheese…I just want to get out…
The mice squeak at Garroth. He groans.
Garroth: Help…!
With that, the episode ends.
