"I Love You Aaron" is the 17th and final episode of the fourth season of MyStreet. It premiered on May 11th, 2017.

While it is the season finale, it acts as the epilogue while the previous episode acts as the season finale.

Summary

The episode begins briefly at the previous episode, with Aphmau screaming for Aaron. Cut to a week later, the lodge is heaving with people because of rumours of an ultima’s death. Zane and Garroth start packing, however Zane feels guilt for what he did under Ein’s control. Garroth shows support for Zane and reassures him, and they both share a heartfelt hug. Kim sees this at the front desk, but she stops Ghost from approaching Zane and runs off into the bathroom. Talking through the mirror, Ghost asks if Kim can continue hosting her, as she now feels out of place with all of the new people running around. Kim agrees but on a couple of conditions. Ghost agrees, and Kim goes back to manning the front desk. Meanwhile, Lucinda is in the caves talking to Tatiana and breaking the news that Tatiana’s forever potion is now irreversible. Tatiana doesn’t mind as much, as her pack understands her sacrifice and still consider her their leader. Before she goes, Tatiana hands Lucinda the book that belonged to the snake eyed man. Lucinda thanks Tatiana and the two part ways.

As Kim continues to work the front desk, Sylvanna and Eric burst into the lodge. Sylvanna demands to see Aphmau, and Kim tells her that she’s waiting in the Lycan Suite. Meanwhile in the suite, Aphmau is sitting down, back in her original outfit and with tired eyes. Sylvanna bursts in and comforts Aphmau, before asking for an explanation from Aphmau. Aphmau obliges as she explains through tears about how she almost lost herself, but Aaron rescued her even when she was forced to hate him under Ein’s control. Sylvanna asks where Aaron is and Aphmau tells her that he’s in the bedroom, but she hasn’t been allowed to see him ever since his parents arrived a week ago, and that she’s been waiting for the past week for the chance to see him. Sylvanna is outraged, and she goes upstairs to Aphmau’s protest.

In the bedroom, a comatose Aaron is being tended to by three werewolf doctors, with his parents present and worried sick. Derek becomes concerned about rumours starting to spread and Rachel fears the loss of her son. One of the werewolf doctors asks Rachel for more blood, but before she can do so Sylvanna and Eric come bursting into the room. Sylvanna is furious and demands that they let Aphmau see Aaron, with Eric backing her up. The werewolf doctors warn them to leave, but Sylvanna and Eric continue to fight with them until Aphmau comes up to the room and tells Sylvanna that they need to leave and that Aaron needs his rest. Upon hearing Aphmau’s voice, Aaron’s ultima eyes fade back into grey, with Derek and Rachel noticing. Derek soon remembers a time when he shattered Aaron’s phone and insisted that Aaron forgets about Aphmau. Aaron refuses, and him talking about Aphmau caused his eyes to calm. In the present, he asks everyone in the room to leave except for Aphmau, which they do.

Derek explains to Aphmau about how he tried to protect Aaron all of his life, but it was Aphmau who helped Aaron, and that he regrets his son nearly dying. He remembers a flashback where Melissa told him about Aaron’s plans, and he relays to Aphmau that Aaron was taking all of the odd jobs to bring her to somewhere special. Aphmau realises where Aaron wanted to take her because of the new year’s party, and she feels immense guilt, believing herself to not be deserving after what she did to Aaron. Derek tells Aphmau that she saved Aaron, and that despite his isolation it was her love that made Aaron feel loved. Derek then informs Aphmau that since rumours are now spreading quickly about the ultima, Aaron is no longer safe at the lodge and that they would soon be departing for Falcon Claw. After Aphmau asks to go with them for Aaron, Derek refuses because of the danger it could put her in. When Aphmau asks how long they would be separated for, Derek tells her that it would take a year for Aaron to recover. He promises to Aphmau that in a year’s time, they would reunite at Starlight, but he asks for her understanding. Despite pushback, Aphmau agrees.  Derek then tells Aphmau that she can talk to Aaron, though he’s unresponsive, and he hands her the red bandana before leaving the room. Aphmau goes to Aaron’s bedside and tearfully apologises for the pain she inflicted on him while under Ein’s control. She hugs Aaron by the bedside, and promises to wait for him as his “stupid potato”.

Outside, Lucinda informs Garroth, Kim and Zane that she couldn’t find any information on the snake-eyed man, and that Ein was gone. She adds that they need to keep the events of the lodge and Aaron’s true identity a secret. Just then, Aphmau walks outside, with the red bandana tied to her wrist, and tells everyone that they’re going home. After their shock subsides and Aphmau explains why, all of them back her up. Zane and Garroth start up the cars, and Aphmau pulls Lucinda aside. Aphmau asks Lucinda if she can teach her healing magic. Lucinda tells Aphmau that when they get back, she can teach Aphmau what she knows, but for now she needed rest. The two then head to the cars as Aphmau looks at the lodge one last time before rejoining Lucinda.

In a post credits scene, back in the past, it shows Terry and Garte outside of the Lodge while Zianna is tending to a young Travis, Garroth, Vylad and Zane. Zack arrives shortly after, and apologises for being late as he was spending time with a young Aphmau in the wake of his divorce. Derek also comes outside after getting a young Aaron to clean up the rocks he brought inside. With the four gathered, they decide to sign some papers. Meanwhile in the lodge, a young Aaron is playing with a puppy, and they run into the garage. Aaron then hides an emerald in the boiler, and tells the puppy that it’s their secret.

Trivia

• This is the first episode from the a season of MyStreet which features closing credits with an extended version of the theme song playing underneath.
• At approximately 39 minutes, including opening and credits, this is the second longest episode of MyStreet and overall on the channel to date. Season 6 episode 15 part 3 is longer by literally 4 seconds.
• Not counting any of the flashbacks, Aaron has no actual dialogue in the episode. His only vocalizations are grunts.
• In the closing credits, there is an error in which Jason is credited as writier, instead of writer. 
• The writing on the thumbnail is the same from "An Alpha Is Chosen."
• As of this episode, the only people who knows of Aaron's conditions are the main characters, the Lycan clan, Sylvanna, Eric, Michi, and the doctors who operated on Aaron. 
• This episode is the first to introduce Joseph, Jess's son and Julia's brother, into the cast, where he voices a young Aaron.
