"If You Don't Want Her..." is the 7th episode of 'Mermaid Tales'. It premiered on August 3rd, 2017.

Summary[]
Amber searches around for Prince Travis. Kawaii~Chan plays dumb and pretends she doesn't know where he is, wanting Travis to have some freedom before he becomes the king. Amber continues to worry, but Kawaii~Chan insists that he can take care of himself. She can't help but be worried, explaining to Kawaii~Chan her past with pirates and with Travis' father, telling her about the promise she made to always protect him. She leaves to look for him herself, and Kawaii~Chan questions her decision while still standing by it.
Aaron brings Aphmau to Garroth's ship. He warns her to stay with him, and she says she'll hide behind him- which is literally what she does. Garroth notices her pretty quickly, badgering Aaron about who she is- that is, until Aph yells out that she's his.. butt. When Aaron tries to explain once Garroth realizes she's naked, as he takes it the wrong way like everyone else.
Down by the docks, two men watch Ivan cast out nets with pity. The sorcerer tells the other the story of what happened, as he doesn't remember: Lucinda was a sorceress (that he was friends with,) who was always extremely kind. She frequently stopped people from committing crimes.. and then met Ivan. Everyone around them could tell they had something between them, and she slowly stopped her work against crime. Crimes still went down though, perhaps because they knew better by then. And then one night, Ivan came into town screaming that she'd been taken by a mermaid. Ivan spots them watching him and screams at them, deciding to go out into the ocean and cast a net there instead of just sitting at the shore. Before he can set off, Travis comes by and kindly asks him for directions to Garroth's ship.
Garroth fills Aaron in on a plan he had: to bring Michi in on their plan, so that they can pay her and milk Prince Travis for more gold. He immediately refuses to have any part in it. In a secluded room, Aphmau meekly tells him that she doesn't know what to do with the clothes he gave her. Garroth offers to help, but Aaron keeps him out until one of his crew pulls him up top to see something. He finds Travis waiting for his date, and begins to panic.
