It KNOWS Your Heart... is the second episode of ALTERNATES Season 2. It premiered on October 12th, 2025.

Summary[]
Gene runs away from seemingly an Alternate and falls into a ravine as a shadowed figure approaches him from the top. Aphmau walks out of the Safe Town with Travis and Dante behind her. Peebs runs up to them and tells them he got separated from KC and Gene. Aphmau, Dante, and Peebs go into the forest and find a black goo puddle where KC was. They find out it’s some sort of portal and Dante jumps into it. A bear Alternate shows up and Aphmau jumps into the portal. Aphmau sees Dante and the gas station, Peebs appears from the portal. After Aphmau and Dante look around for a short period, Peebs tells them the portal is shrinking so they all jump back through, however on the other side Dante is with them.
Back at the Safe Town a meeting is held and Travis tells the town about Gene, Dante, and KC and then Aphmau takes the stage and tells them about the portal. The meeting is dismissed. Later, Travis gives Aphmau portable cameras. Zena and Peebs show up and tell her they want to help her. Aphmau, Zena, and Peebs go back to the portal and in. On the other side, the portal disappears and they see a cabin and set up the portable camera system in there. Aphmau takes watch while the two sleep and Aphmau falls asleep, and has a nightmare. She wakes up, accidentally waking the other two and see the cameras are compromised.
They leave the cabin and find out it’s an Alternate. They run away and Zena and Aphmau get separated from Peebs, who fell down a trap. Aphmau and Zena then see Peebs get kidnapped by the Swamp Woman—who takes him to her cottage and Aphmau, and Zena break into her cottage. Zena and Aphmau see her bring him to the basement and they save him, however the Swamp Woman catches them, who points her gun at them and forces them to eat dinner with her. In the Swamp Woman’s dining room, they see a skeleton with only a head left on it on the table. The Swamp Woman leaves and comes back with Dante to be their dinner.
Alternate mannequins appear behind the Swamp Woman and Aphmau uses the opportunity—using her bat—Aphmau breaks the window and her, Zena, Peebs, and Dante jump out of the broken window as the Swamp Woman gets killed by the mannequins. They find a portal and jump through it. On the other side, they find themselves in a foggy flower field. As they walk through, an Alternate plant appears from a cave and it grabs Zena and is about to eat her, but a molotov hits it and kills it. They see the molotov came from a man and his group, who is with Gene.

- This was going to be posted on October 13th, but they changed it to the 12th.
- Despite "Echoes of Us" being the season 2 subtitle, this episode includes "S2" in its title.
- Zena is the only background character to return in this episode.
- KC's fate is still unknown.
- The episode is named almost exactly to the season 1 episode "It KNOWS Your Name..."
