Kim is as chaotic as she is nerdy. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind and lives for the moment. She doesn't like it when someone destroys books, especially her own. This is mainly because she enjoys reading and researching all kinds of information. She enjoys potion making and the supernatural, primarily using the former to solve or cause problems. Whenever she causes such mayhem, she sometimes uses her destiny as an excuse [or blames others for her mess]. This is most likely her desire to become a powerful sorcerer or witch. She mostly reads about folklore, dragons, fairytale or mob like creatures, and/or ancient treasures/artifacts that you can find on the server. She loves to inform others whenever she can, but most of the time they ignore or call her a nerd. She is also a party animal and will take any chance to have fun, even if it's by herself.
She sometimes comes off as a treasure hunter, obtaining rare things for her collections, and has no problem stealing from her friends, especially if she thinks she deserves it. She often “borrows” weapons or armor from Aphmau or Aaron as she doesn’t craft those well compared to her. She also loves stealing diamonds as well. Sometimes, if a magic item is too dangerous, she will warn others and find solutions to stop those who use evil magic against her friends. However, Kim can also get power-hungry and sometimes needs her friends to keep her in check. She also has a tendency to let her rage get to her and go charging into a fight without thinking. She can be very stubborn, but once she realizes she can't fight back, she tends to run away or hide. She can also get jealous if Aphmau or anyone else has a unique power that she wants. Sometimes, she'll try to find a way to either replicate or steal any powers others may possess. In moments where she is loyal, she will do anything to protect her friends, even if it foolish means getting hurt in the process or least distract enough for the others to intervene.
Kim considers Aphmau her best friend and is usually willing to follow her plans, especially if they involve pranking the other guys. She can also be very protective of her if any of the boys mess with her though it depends if she is also involved in the prank herself. She loves having girls hang out, makeovers, or have sleepover parties with Aphmau and KC. She has a visceral hatred for Zane because he thinks her methods are inferior to science, but she will still ally with him if they have common goals, especially when both of them are against Aphmau. She also doesn't mind flirting with Zane to either fluster him or make KC mad if she happens to be around him. It's unknown if she actually does see him as a rival or something more, but she would never admit it. She does seem to gravitate towards Noi, but mostly because she thinks he's a pushover and can get free cookies anytime she wants. She will also tease Aphmau, flirt with Aaron, or ensure he’s on his team whenever they play games since he is much more skilled than the others. Sometimes, she’ll beg the others to carry her or help her with platforms as she’s not the most athletic. She also has no problem blaming others, so she gets the least amount of trouble. She has tried to flirt with Pierce, but he is usually oblivious. She also despises Ein, as he will mostly blow up her house and ruin her books. She tends to admire Rhys genius a bit more than Zane's but can still can be impatient if he doesn't explain things quick enough. She tolerates Peebs much like Noi, but seems to like picking Peebs more, seeing as he's the newest friend to the server. She is becoming more buddies with Zena, who she feels she can teach her chaotic ways to her as a partner in crime. While there are times she wishes or craves for a relationship from the others, Kim seems to be fine focusing on her work, reading books or watching drama unfold with her friends as long as none of her property is destroyed in the process.
When she first joined, Kim used to be timid and wasn't very skilled at Minecraft, often needing someone to carry her because she wasn't good at jumping or would be injured. Even on her first day, Aphmau needed to become a helpful kitten in order to make sure she'd enjoy her stay. After Pierce and Ein blew up her house in "Using THE GRIM REAPER Mod In Minecraft!", Kim started to become more assertive and fought back. Nowadays, she is usually a wild card when it comes to solving problems or simply just likes watch drama unfold. Sometimes though, she's the one to start the drama. She loves spreading rumors and spreading or drinking "the tea," when it comes to drama on the server. Though Ein and Pierce probably cause her the most trouble, she absolutely hates dealing with Michi, Ivy, and Gene. She thinks whenever they show up the kill the fun or are bullies that go too far, which is saying something for all the others on the server.
Appearance[]
Kim is pale with long reddish-brown hair with blonde highlights, and her eyes are teal. She has black glasses and wears a mint-green shirt, and a darker plaid skirt with white socks and a navy-blue choker. Kim tends to speak with a shrill, nerdy voice, but when flirting has a seductive, lower tone.
In promotional content, her glasses are circular, while in Minecraft, they're rectangular.
Base[]
Kim tends to make a small, green and dark-wooded house filled with books and set-ups for potion brewing. Sometimes, she'll have a basement or hidden room to store her rarest potions and treasures.
Trivia[]
- Kim sometimes takes the role of the server's admin while being Officer Kim, albeit while also being against Aphmau. She's also been known as Detective Kimmy. She has stated herself, that she has solved many cases including Aarons' murders at Vidcon 2024 during the Aphmau panel. [1]
- Despite respecting the law, she has stated she's been to jail several times and has committed crimes in the past. In one video, she stated she knew exactly how to take care of a dead body.
- Kim also references her cooking show in the SMP videos, such as Aphmau's Big Movie in Minecraft, as Cooking with Kimmy. She only had a few segments, but usually her cooking always went horribly wrong. She also had a workout show, which also went poorly.
- Kim, like Aphmau, seems to reference Ratatouille (film) whenever cooking or rats are involved. It is believed that both of them [the characters and actors] like the movie in general. Kim has also been a rat several times in SMP videos.
- Kim often has a rivalry with Zane over Potions vs. Machines or just who's smarter. She believes her potions always rival Zane's machines as magic is better than science.
- Her love for books and chaotic aspects might come from Minecraft Diaries Emmalyn, since she possessed Kim's MyStreet counterpart. Either that or she is just a bookworm.
- One of the biggest deviations from her MyStreet counterpart is her eye color, which was originally dark amber. However, when Emmalyn [Ghost] possesses her, her eyes become light blue. This suggests in the recent eps, that Kim is still possessed by Ghost or their personalities are blending together.
- In the Aphmau videos, Kim always loves books because she loved school in the past, but also because Emmalyn from Minecraft Diaries also loved to read and do research. She will get angry if anyone tries to destroy her books or mess up her work.
- In an Aphmau video where Aphmau loses her memory, Kim even says ¨I also came back in a different body from some girl´. This part refers to MyStreet Season 4: Emerald Secret.[2]
- In certain videos of Aphmau’s “Truth or Dare” videos, Kim flirts with Zane and her voice goes down to the same tone that Emmalyn [Ghost] had. Kim also tends to use that voice whenever she flirts with other guys, but it usually never works to her dismay. Zane sometimes gets easily embarrassed by her comments, not knowing what to say.
- Her potions are prone to be stolen by people like Ein and Pierce.
- Kim is not very organized, hence why she sometimes doesn't know what some of her potions do half the time since they're not labeled.
- When flirting, her VA uses a more seductive voice for her, and it almost sounds like Ghost's voice when possessing her MyStreet counterpart.[2]
- It's possible that Kim is a nickname in Modern Aphmau Videos, as Aphmau calls her "Kimberly" (in past videos Kim has been called Kimothy, Kimmy, Kimton Kimilton, Kimbucha.) in "10 FRIENDS on one ELEMENTAL BLOCK in Minecraft!"
- It is possible that Kim is in a relationship with Noi, However, she can sometimes be very angry when he acts goofy sometimes, but she still cares. She just doesn’t show it all the time, and the only reason she rejected Noi was because she hates mining dates.
- She tends to say, "what the hecky" instead of "what the heck". At times, she'll also say "OMG" instead of "oh my goodness."
- Whenever Kim is ready to fight or finds a useful weapon, she'll tend to say, "lock and loady, baby!"
- Whenever Kim takes on the role of the antagonist of the episode, sometimes Noi is her minion. She also work with Zane either assisting him or vice versa.
- She is known to be bad at parkour, both in Minecraft and in Roblox. She tends to die a LOT. She blames the game mostly rather than her skills.
- In one of the 'longest answer' challenge videos, it is revealed that Kim appreciates the TV show, Bluey. She also adores Stich from Lilo and Stitch, but it's to the point that she'll allow him to destroy the server and even shoot down his ship to keep him from leaving at the expense of everyone else being hunted by him.
- Her voice actress said that both herself and Kim like otters.[3]

- There was a point where she tried to take over the YouTube channel, but her own VA realized how much of a chore it was and abandoned such plans.[5]
- In "Truth or Dare: Crush Edition" Kim reveals she has a crush on Noi, but there has been no confirmation that they are in a relationship.
