Biography[]
Leo first appeared in Valley of Secrets looking for a summer job, when he met Phe and Zero. The group meets the current mayor of the town, Chester, and speaks with him. Leo and Zero decide that the invite to the village was a scam, though Phe disagrees. In the midst of arguing, a monster appears and chases the group, sending them running into and taking refuge in an empty home. The group later dictates that Chester has disappeared for an uncomfortable amount of time, and Leo and Phe leave searching for him.
During this process, the two find a little girl lying unconscious in the forest, later identified as Luma of the Soulmender Tribe. Phe runs for Zero’s help carrying her while Leo stays guard with Luma.
After bringing Luma to the village and dictating her origin, the group sets off to find Chester and Luma’s possible place of origin. They then hear repeating screams from within the forest. After disagreeing with Zero on where the scream was coming from, Leo chooses to go right. He is later found injured and brought to the Spirit Mender's village for help. The menders aren’t able to sustainably heal his wounds, so Phe decides to have the ghost Neyhe save him through possession. After this occurs, Leo states to Phe that he wants his possession to be kept a secret from Zero, so he doesn’t fanboy or obsess over the paranormal phenomenon. Phe still tells Zero, leaving Leo hurt, though eventually merely irritated by Zero’s pestering.
The group does work in the wheat fields the next day, and soon after it’s revealed that Zero knows of Leo’s possession, a monster appears. Phe, Zero, and Leo then head for the spirit mender village to warn of the monster after it runs off, and are later led to the spirit rabbit burrow, where they find the golem nearing death. When they encounter the monster again, Phe guards Zero, causing Leo to be attacked and resulting in him losing his arm. At the end of the series Leo says his goodbyes to both Zero and Phe, as they return to the monster realm.
