Malik is a character in Minecraft Diaries. He was the husband of Matilda and was the biological father of Levin.
Biography[]
There is very little information available about Malik, apart from the fact that he used to be the Old Lord of Phoenix Drop. He has never been seen and is only mentioned by others. He was married to Matilda and was Levin's biological father. He was also a descendant of Lady Irene. Phoenix Drop was named by him as the old lord.
In Season 1 Episode 4: "The Lord's Journal", Aphmau finds his journal in his old home, as well as a baby crib.
In Season 1 Episode 11: "The Cellar", Aphmau find a book written by him, this is where his first name is revealed.
Most of the early information about Malik is left in doubt due to the town's collective memory loss, which might have been caused by Gene. It should be noted that the "original Lord" that Garroth remembers was supposedly a bad one, as he mentioned in "New World" to Zenix. Garroth dis not remember the name Matilda either, as mentioned in "Garroth's Face".

My name is Malik. If you're reading this, then that means I'm gone. I don't know what "gone" means... I might be dead or I might be rotting in a cellar. I was the Lord of this village, I named it "Phoenix Drop".

Trivia[]
- Malik was considered a true descendant of Irene by his wife, Matilda. Since Matilda believed that true descendants had noble hearts and could commune with animals and Wyvern, it is possible that Malik could commune with animals. It was later confirmed by Hyria however that Irene never had children besides the one she had sacrificed to the Celestial Cannon.
- It is possible that Malik was killed by a Shadow Knight since Gene and Sasha knocked out Aphmau and took Malik's journal from her while she was reading about Malik talking about someone from another world, most likely the Nether.
- In Diaries Rebirth, it was Zane who tasked the Shadow Knights to kill Malik and his family, with him having punished Gene for only being able to kill Malik.
