Garroth: I've gathered you all here today because you are all an expert in your field of craft. Be it from travel experience magics or witchcraft. Zoey, can you please explain the series of events that led to the creation of the amulet you see before us?
Aphmau: Go ahead Zoey.
Zoey: I can as you all know I reside in Lady Aphmau house. I was busy getting ready to present my idea of hosting a baby shower to Kiki and the other ladies of the village for little Leona when Lady Aphmau came into my room with Dante. Lady Aphmau started talking to me and then the next thing I know, there was a newly merged pendant on the floor made from the remains of the necklace that cursed Alexis which I held in my room and the one that little Leona was born from.
Garroth: That's the story what we fail to understand is exactly why this happened.
Laurance: Was it an accident?
Zoey: I'm not sure no one moved or caused anything to happen. I would have sent something initiating the penance just came together as if they were waiting for this moment the whole time.
Aphmau: What's even more concerning is that one of the amulets happens to be the one that transformed Alexis into a grown woman. A Shadow Knight to be exact.
Aphmau: That's true
Dale: Is Alexis still a Shadow Knight Laurence?
Laurance: From what I can tell, no. She was one yes but she became one in an instant, through different means. Real Shadow Knights are not made like that, not that that's anything to be proud of....
Garroth: What the question comes down to is is the amulet something we need to hide destroy study fear what is it exactly?

Kawaii~Chan: Kawaii~Chan has never seen anything like this in her life.
Lucinda: Same. It's not even radiating any kind of magical aura.
Laurance: Is that dangerous?
Logan: It's not exactly dangerous but it can be usually magics and witchcraft users can sense one another's presence and the same can be said for potions of great potency what Lucinda is trying to say is that if someone wanted to do anything under our noses we would not even be able to know about it until it was too late.
Aphmau: What?
Kawaii~Chan: That's right Logan~Kun. Kawaii~Chan didn't know you knew so much about these kinds of things.
Logan: I used to be a traveling merchant. Hence why Garroth asked me here. You learn a lot of things on the road.
Zoey: Logan is right we have plenty of different kinds of magic fuses in town plus Lucinda one of us should have been able to feel this merging of pendants happening but it took us actually seeing the event to be able to bring it to attention.
Garroth: We just need to know what it is does anyone have any ideas?
Kawaii~Chan: Not a clue Garroth~Kun
Lucinda: No, sorry.
Logan: I have an idea it's a little unorthodox. but Garroth may I bring someone from outside the village into this affair? I feel like they might prove useful.
Garroth: As long as you can vouch for them then yes, you may.
Logan: Wait here
Logan leaves the old Guard tower and comes back with Oliver
Oliver: Hmmm this looks like some juicy jewelry here. It might be fresh my memory if I was given a few coin.
Logan: You aren't getting any coin from anyone. Tell us about the amulet if you know anything or I'll burn your wares.
Oliver: Okay Logan geez transforming into a werewolf has made you even more of a hothead than before. Yikes! I was in another town recently the town of Levis, which is west of here. It had quite a few problems, not a very nice town I don't recommend going to it.
Logan: Stop with your Travel Guide just get to the point
Oliver: Hey I'm getting to that. If you aren't going to give me any coin for this information then at least let me tell my story the way I want to. Now where was I?
Ah yes, well the town of Levis had a lot of problems. Namely thieves and troublemakers, two of the town's resident mischief makers had somehow recently come across these necklaces that cursed them. One of them could not eat without having some part of his body become a pig which meant that when he ate he was just speeding up his inevitable permanent transformation to a pig and the other turned painfully into stone gradually and became a statue of his former self over the course of two days.
Laurance: Okay, but what does it have to do with the one you see before you?
Oliver: Calm down. Geez you young people and getting straight to the point appreciate a good ste... appreciate a good story when one is told to you, dagnabbit. Anyway the two were closely monitored but their conditions could not be stopped then the transfer once their transformations were complete and the pendants were brought together a blinding flash happened and the two pendants joined together to create one. The Lord ordered the newly-formed amulet to be sealed away in his vault never to curse his people good or bad ever again. Then the next day when the guards were wandering the grounds they discovered that the vault was broken into and the amulet was stolen!
Garroth: And then?
Oliver: Oh that's it the end!
Logan: Really?
Oliver: Hey I'm sure that must have helped now if you'll excuse me I have a merchant booth to set up.
Aphmau: This late at night. Oh well okay all right, thank you.
Oliver leaves
Logan: Sorry I thought it was going to be useful.
Lucinda: He was.
Aphmau: Uh what do you mean Lucinda?
Lucinda: From what I could tell if his story it seemed like the pendants had dual purposes one is to provide the wearer with some kind of power hence the ability to give Leona life and transform Alexis into a Shadow Knight the second purpose is to fuse together when that power has run out.
Kawaii~Chan: Ah but Lucinda~Chan what could the pendants forming together to create one amulet possibly do?
Lucinda: Whoever must have broken into that vault knew their worth and risk being discovered to do it. I think we should keep the amulet and make sure no one knows where it is.
Garroth: Agreed. This matter will be discussed in private between guards. Everyone, thank you for coming out tonight please head home and get some rest, do not worry. Laurence, Dante, Brian and I will keep the village safe. This meeting is adjourned.
Zoey: Oh! Remember I'm throwing Kiki a baby shower tomorrow in her barn house! All ladies and gents are invited to come!
Dale: It's just a hugehen clucking fest! I ain't going but I'll send a present !
Logan: Same last thing I want to do is talk about babies.
Dante: babies are cute though.
Aphmau laughs
Aphmau: They are they're adorable.
Laurance: My babies would be major cuties just announcing that to the world in case some beautiful girl wanted beautiful babies.
Aphmau: Meeting adjourned.
Blackout to Aphmau standing outside
Aphmau: Well that meeting was everything and stressful.
I don't think there's anything to worry about, before we even brought the amulet here, I put a powerful barrier magicks on the amulet it cannot possibly curse anyone.
Aphmau: that makes me feel slightly better but I'm still worried Zoey.
Zoey: Of course you are. You are the lord of this village you feel like you need to protect everyone but you just need to trust me. Things will be fine now come on let's go home and get some rest we have a baby shower to attend tomorrow. Oh feel free to sleep in by the way I've got Levin and Malachi helping me so you can get your rest. I know you've been tossing and turning in your sleep why don't you let me make you some relaxing chamomile tea when we get home.
Aphmau: You really like to drink tea Zoey but you know what that sounds lovely sure.
Zoey: Great come on let's go.
Aphmau: Thanks Zoey I really appreciate it you know maybe things won't be so bad after all.
Fadeout
Aphmau: Zoey was right can't believe I slept in again. It's just been hard to get some sleep lately and I'm not sure why. Anyway glad I got Kiki's baby shower present beforehand, last night that is. yeah anyway
A knocking sound comes from downstairs and Aphmau makes her way to the door
Aphmau: Yes yes I'm coming. Huh I always feel like I sleep in to the point where somebody is able to come to the door. Anyway, Morning guys.
Aphmau opens the door to Garroth
Aphmau: Garroth, Hey I started to expect you at my door now.
Lady Aphmau, good morning. Please allow me to escort you to the baby shower today.
Aphmau: It's already started!? Garroth I'm fine walking by myself I do it all the time.
Garroth: I know you are. It's just with all the changes and crazy things happening in the village I worry about your safety. Please just allow me. I escorted Zoey, Levin and Malachi to the shower this morning please let me do the same for you. To put my mind at ease.
Aphmau: Wait does this mean that you're not attending the baby shower?
Garroth: I will be but I will be keeping patrol around the outside. Please understand that the guards and I though we do not want to show it are very terrified of someone coming to the village and harming our people in order to get the amulet. While we are not sure of the truth to Oliver's story we cannot leave that to chance so may I escort you?
Aphmau: If it makes you feel better Garroth and yes you may.
Garroth: Thank you my lord. Now if you are ready let us head there. The party is starting.
Aphmau: Well I mean I have the gifts and everything on me. It's just I all right fine we can go ahead if it's starting we can go. Come on.
Aphmau and Garroth make their way to the barn
Aphmau: Holy cow Kiki doesn't even need my present there's so many there. I mean of course I'm gonna give her my present because I think it's awesome and blessed she deserves it but still wow that's a lot. Garroth, thank you so much for walking me here.
Garroth: You have a good time Lord Aphmau. Your people need to know you're in high spirits if you are then they will be as well. Please have fun for everyone.
Aphmau: When you say it like that that sounds a little selfish but still I I understand what you mean. I will try Garroth. I mean I will for you and for everyone else I guess. Yes I will don't worry, it'll be fine. Ah fancy seeing you here.
Laurance: Lord Aphmau, fancy seeing you here funny
Aphmau: I just said the same thing.
Laurance: You look as beautiful as ever.
Aphmau: Hmm not wearing your helmet you got your confidence back eh?
Laurance: Haha even having even having my heart ripped to shreds by you isn't going to stop me from loving you. I know you treat me wrong but someday you'll find it in your heart to stand me.
Aphmau: Oh, dream on.
Laurance: I do dream and you're always in them.
Aphmau: Oh wow did you practice that?
Laurance: Hey! I'm trying here you know I love it when we're able to go together like this anyway I'm patrolling the positive talk to you later.
Aphmau: Yeah talk to you later Laurance.
Nicole: *laughs* Is that Laurance guy serious? He's a charmer. Seriously you should give him a chance, what's holding you back?
Aphmau: I-I guess I just really have so much going on I don't worry about things like love right now I don't know let's go to the baby shower Nicole come on.
Aphmau and Nicole walk into the barn and Laurance walks into town
Fade out to Garroth standing outside the Barn. He sees a figure in a mask in the forest and follows them all the way out of the village and into a clearing
In the clearing Garroth finds an illusion of Aphmau and Laurance kissing and leaves. Only for the two to disappear with the stranger standing there
Aphmau: Garroth. Hey Garroth! Where'd you go? Garroth!
