Fine... If you want to play God, let me kill you in a place fit for a goddess to die.

―Michael to Aphmau, MyStreet: When Angels Fall Ep 15, Reborn PT.2

Michael Valkrum, known colloquially as the Demon Warlock or the Snake-Eyed Man, is the main antagonist of When Angels Fall and the overarching antagonist of both Emerald Secret and Starlight, specifically due to being the one who orchestrated the events of Ein's attack at the Bunny Hill Lodge, as well as being the main catalyst for the Forever Potions that would come later in the series.

Michael's end goal upon regaining his power is to enter Irene's Dimension in order to kill Irene, breaking the cycle of rebirth and to crown himself as the master of the world.[1]

Biography[]

Before MyStreet[]

Ever since his son took away Enki's relic from him, Michael had been searching for a way to regain his power. That was when he learned about both the Celestial Cannon and the Ultima curse.

Using his son's descendants as hosts, he had tormented the Lycans to the point of them going berserk in order to make the perfect sacrifice to forge a new relic. However, his son's descendants kept getting in the way of his plan. He did however manage to make the world fear the Ultima. Because of his ability to use his descendants as hosts however, the Valkrums were hunted down and slaughtered to prevent Michael from returning. However, the hunters did a poor job, as a few Valkrums managed to survive.[2]

When Derek and his brother were just children, Michael orchestrated a series of murders in Bright Port, including Derek's mother and her side of the family, excluding his father. His father turned into a full wolf as a result. When the Guardian Forces found him, they believed he was the killer, resulting in Derek's father going on a rampage across Bright Port until Toby's grandfather (and at the time, Captain of the Guardian Forces), Marcio, managed to put him down at the cost of him looking into the Ultima's eyes, killing himself in the process.

Years later since the Bright Port incident, Michael took Terry as his host and used him to kill Terry's father, making Terry think that he disappeared. While having Terry as his host, Michael gathered four followers: Derek, Garte, Zack, and Elizabeth. As Zack and Elizabeth were excellent doctors who knew how to use spells and witchcraft for treatments. Derek and Garte, meanwhile, knew how to sell things and make them look appealing. After some time, the six of them got to know each other more and became close friends. Michael told them about his realm theory as well as realms, magics, and sorcery that they've never heard of. One day, Michael proposed to them an idea, an idea that they would use to "make the world a better place." When the group managed to gain custody over a lodge built above caverns filled with raw emeralds, Michael, Zack, and Elizabeth started using the emeralds to make forever potions, potions meant to last forever. Michael said that they would be used to cure diseases, heal the incurable, and grant people incredible abilities. Meanwhile, Derek and Garte used their advertising skills to get investors Michael suggested to sponsor them. However, to Derek, the investors seemed questionable.

When the forever potions were done, Michael suggested to test them on their children to make sure that they were a success. Derek refused, believing experimenting on children to be wrong, but that didn't stop Michael from convincing everyone else. He had Terry test them on his son while Garte and Elizabeth used potions of strength on their eldest children, Garroth and Katelyn, but more forever potions were possibly used on them as well. When Zack lost custody of Aphmau, experimenting on her was no longer an option, so the group requested for Derek to start experimenting on his son. Derek still refused. With Garte and Zack dismissed, Elizabeth tried to tell him the benefits of Aaron being experimented on and that he would have no memory of it, but Derek didn't want the guilt of experimenting on Aaron added to him isolating him from the world.

Taking control over Terry, Michael told Elizabeth to let Derek choose what to do with Aaron, for it will not change his fate. Derek was confused, so Michael told him that only Aaron's path will change and that he'll be of greater use to them later on. Asking Michael what that meant, Michael changed the subject and told Derek to go put up posters to advertise the forever potions, stating that was all he was good for here. When Derek left, Elizabeth offered to get more children, but Michael refused. The ones they currently had were the ones "she" chose. He concluded that they'll just have to keep an eye on Aphmau and Aaron.

When the day finally came to sell the forever potions, Derek noticed that they were only being sold to thugs with big bank accounts that wanted to do horrible things. Derek should've said something, but Michael was obsessed with something else. Derek assumed that it was just some stone, but it was more likely the relic he would forge from Aaron. Garte later argued with Michael after Derek told him that people were now dying thanks to the thugs. However, instead of doing something about it, Michael, Zack, and Elizabeth decided to get rid of Garte for betraying them. Michael opened a gate to what he called "his realm" in an attempt to trap Garte there, but with the guidance of Irene (who is actually Aphmau from MCD), Derek and Garte ended up turning the tables and forced Michael and his other two followers into the realm instead using Michael's realm breaker. Derek and Garte then shutdown the business, dumped every last forever potion, and split the money before going their separate ways to create their own businesses that they would use to actually make people happy.

Michael somehow managed to later break free from his realm, taking Zack and Elizabeth with him, sometime before the events of Phoenix Drop High despite Irene telling Derek that he wouldn't be able to. He repossessed Terry's body and eventually became the owner of Starlight Wonderland, knowing well that the island was home to the Celestial Cannon.

MyStreet: Emerald Secret (Season 4)[]

Michael eventually perpetrated the events of MyStreet: The Emerald Secret, sending Ein as his pawn. He created the forever potions that Ein would use on Aphmau and others. While Aaron and the group were heading to the lodge, Michael confronted Ein and told him to use a specific potion on Aphmau. He also gave him permission to kill anyone who intervenes with their plans and hurt the wolves’ former Alpha if they disobeyed. When Michael left Ein to do the task alone, he forgot his book. Ein started to look for Michael when he accidentally dropped the potion, but he wasn't there. Ein then saw Michael's book and took for himself before it was later confiscated by Lucinda. Michael later found Ein laying in the snow, having been turned into a human by Aaron and mauled by his former wolf pack, being covered with blood and dying because of it. Michael did not scold Ein for his failure, rather telling Ein that he won’t kill him because Aaron was still alive. Ein said that he can still be useful. Knowing that Ein could be used to make Aaron go berserk, Michael agreed and took the young man with him. Ein was then given countless forever potions to both heal his body and give him strength and power to make up for his now human body. However, the effects took just over a year to settle in due to how many were used.

MyStreet: Starlight (Season 5)[]

Michael pushes his plans ahead and calls Elizabeth to come to Starlight and smuggle in Ein with her. Zack is already present on the island as a therapist. During their meeting, Michael is unable to participate since Terry is currently in control over his own body. Zack informs Elizabeth that Derek and his family were at Starlight and Elizabeth confirms to Zack that several plans are being set in motion. And once those plans were complete, they'll have everything they've ever wanted. The Lycans were then confirmed to be connected to the Ultima to the public by an anonymous meif’wa that was still under Ein's control. When the group spread rumors about the Ultima being at Starlight after Aaron accidentally used his eyes on Garroth after spotting Ein, Michael then contacted the Guardian Forces to the island to hunt down the Lycans and anyone friends with them. He also put the entire island on lockdown, preventing anyone from entering or leaving.

MyStreet: When Angels Fall (Season 6)[]

Once the Guardian Forces arrived on the island, one by one, Michael started to slowly take full control over them under Toby's nose. The Guardian Forces raided the beach resort and trashed it, causing many people to be either injured, captured, or killed. However, Aaron and his group, now referred to as the Lycan Resistance, managed to escape to the boardwalk city zone. The Guardian Forces also hunted down all the werewolves on the island to be either captured or executed while also making the public see werewolves as monsters.

Toby confirms to Michael that no one from the Lycan Resistance has made it past the gate yet, thus they are still at the boardwalk city area. Michael asks if he knows their exact location. Toby said that it would be easier if Michael gave them full access to the island. Michael tells him that they will be granted full access as the situation requires it. Toby says that it better be soon since holding them back means giving the Lycan Resistance an opportunity to escape. Toby concludes to Michael that the Guardian Forces will hold fast for now. Toby walks out and a scientist takes his place. The scientist mentions that they found the Celestial Cannon, and it was right where Michael said it was. The scientist was overloaded with how ancient and advanced it was, but Michael interrupts him and asks if they made it to the center yet. The scientist say no. They just found out an outlining platform and it will take weeks to reach the center. Michael tells him to make it days and the scientist dismisses himself. Michael then asks Zack where Ein is. Zack confirms that he is at the beach resort area. Michael tells Zack to get him ready, for it was time.

In a televised interview, Michael insured that despite detaining everyone on the island, his goal was to protect the guests of Starlight and hunt down the Ultima, but his actual plan was far more sinister. Derek realized that Michael's plan was a trap. He and Irene came up with a plan to turn himself in as the Ultima and give false information on where the Lycan Resistance was hiding, but Ein was secretly watching him and was able to find out where the group was hiding for Michael.

Michael confronted Derek without authority, to which he took control of a guard and ordered him to kill the other guard. When he dismissed the guard under his control, Terry tried to fight back control over his body and caused Michael visible pain, but only for a second. Derek asks where Terry was, with Michael stating that he was "safe." Michael wonders why Derek has nothing to say, especially an apology, and comments that it's been so long. When asked by Michael how he escaped, he tells Derek that it was adorable that Derek thought he could seal him in that realm forever, calling him a mongrel while pointing out that there was no way he could do that alone. Derek points out that Michael is still mind controlling people, to which Michael can't argue with the results. When asks why he didn't use his powers on Derek or Garte, he tells Derek that as powerful as he is, he can't take control over a cursed soul since his magic is imperfect. Derek asks him why he doesn't use forever potions to fix his problem, with Michael telling him that the more forever potions one uses, the longer it takes for the effects to settle in, with Derek sarcastically replying that it's tough to be him. Michael then tells Derek that it was "smart" to turn himself in, with Derek asking Michael if he has what he wants, to which Michael replies that he has a man that failed to protect the world and his family. Derek question Michael's words since he had the Ultima, but Michael said that he wasn't here. He told Derek to not take him for a fool, for he knew Derek no longer bared the Ultima curse, for it was passed down to Aaron, as it has been for generations.

Michael then sent armed guards to raid the hotel where everyone was at. When Toby informed Michael that they found Derek's daughter and that Aaron was in the stairwell behind her, even though she was unarmed and cooperating, he took control over one of the guards and ordered for her execution, knowing it would bring Aaron closer to his rampage. At the end of the raid, Garte, Zianna, Rowan, and Rachel were all captured. Only Zianna was eventually released (or escaped on her own) and Rachel was escorted out of the hotel to be executed via firing squad.

Michael later went to where the Celestial Cannon was uncovered. An ancient man named Holla was on the other side of a forcefield that kept Michael's men from accessing the controls of the weapon. He was telling everyone to leave, knowing exactly why they were here. Michael lied and told Holla that this was a peaceful excavation, but he knew Michael planned to use the weapon. He was aware of his dark intentions and refused to let the weapon be used ever again, since there were two failed attempts to create relics and resurrect a person. Growing impatient, Michael simply phased through the barrier and attempted to take control of Holla, but he easily resisted. With glowing eyes, Holla announced his name and once again asked Michael and his men to leave.

Michael was eventually able to overpower Holla and take control of the weapon. He explained that he once had immeasurable power, but his son decided to take it all for himself. He started searching for where it came from and why it resonated with him. That was until he found a diary about a man, his wife and son, a comet, and a cannon. He started to question Holla how many times he let Irene use it and how many people, including her friends and family, she tricked and brought here to kill. All he was asking was to do the same thing. With that, he activates the weapon's flight mechanisms, causing a massive earthquake to be felt throughout the entire park, putting all the trapped guests in a panic.

He later walked up to his quarters on the center island. He was told that every TV was replaced and that the video he planned to broadcast was being edited. He told his guards to make sure Aaron sees it. When they asked him about the tremors, he said he was just testing the flight capabilities of the Celestial Cannon. He then told them to get his helicopter prepped, with them saying they'll be ready for takeoff once he's ready. When the video aired, it was about Rachel’s execution. The story was changed to make the public believe that Rachel was a threat that had to be put down while also lying by saying that all the Lycan family, except Aaron himself were dead in order to break the young Ultima even more.

At nightfall, he explained through a walkie talkie that it was time to start the "evacuation" of the island throughout the resort. He wanted as many people there as possible. He wanted the Guardian Forces to take them to the main walkways slowly and be ready to stop them at a moment's notice. He orders for the evacuation to start immediately and to make sure the guests are cooperative once they reach the resort. However, there was no real evacuation, since one of the guards later pointed out that there were no boats. as Michael actually planned to lead all of Starlight's guests into a deadly trap.

When he hangs up, he is suddenly immobilized, with Kim and Lucinda revealing themselves being disguised as guards. He warned them not to make any move that will come to bite them back. Ghost claims that he'll pay for what he's done. Michael suddenly feels a familiar aura in Ghost, claiming that she's been on this island before. He then questions whether she misplaced the rest of her soul or sacrificed it. Lucinda then calls Michael out on that body not belonging to him, with Michael pretending to be shocked. Lucinda, not knowing that Michael is faking, questions him on how long he can survive without a host. With Ghost saying to get rid of him already, Lucinda begins the exorcism, hoping it stings. Michael pretends to worry, with Ghost realizing something’s wrong once he gives out an evil laugh. Before she could tell Lucinda to stop, Michael exits Terry's body. Now free, Terry questions Lucinda in horror what she had done.

Meanwhile, Travis then experiences great pain, with the alternate persona inside his conscience turning into Michael, who takes full control of his body. With the snap of his fingers, he takes full control over Garroth and Katelyn as well, explaining that playtime is over. He summons a sword through a smoke-like portal, giving it to Garroth, and tests his loyalty by mispronouncing his name and telling him to kill his brother, Zane. When outside, he indirectly tells Irene that he knows she can hear him. Everything she protected, everyone she saved, will all return to nothing, and all her "toys" were now his. As he says this, Ein shoots Aphmau through her heart with a green beam of energy and Garroth slices open Kawaii~Chan's torso. After an evil laugh, Michaels goes on to explain that he will forge a new relic from Aaron's soul using the prototype, and once he does, he will find Irene, and he will kill her.

Being under Michael’s control, Katelyn has fallen in love with Michael, similar to how Ein made Aphmau fall in love with him. After making himself more comfortable in Travis' body, he mocks Travis on how much easier it is to take control of his body than Terry’s. He also notices Travis’ feelings towards Katelyn. To ensure complete control, he told Travis that he will not hesitate to kill Katelyn if he tries fighting back. Either way, the rest of his friends, and eventually everyone on the island, will die. When his helicopter arrives, Katelyn wants to go with him, but he gives her orders to stay with Garroth and wait for his signal. Also, he had previously told Ein to kill Aaron, knowing well that Aaron would be the one killing Ein. This was just Michael's twisted way of relieving Ein from his services since he had already served his purpose by killing Aphmau. Once all the guests are lured into Michael's trap, he witnesses Aaron going on an animalistic rampage. Wanting there to be complete chaos in order to make the Ultima look bad, he told his men to not interfere until there were enough people dead. Because of this, Aaron ended up killing Ein, his werewolves (including Blaze), and everyone that looked into his eyes.

Once Aaron was defeated by Katelyn and Garroth, Michael approaches him, claiming he didn't expect a second Ultima rampage to be so satisfying to watch, although mentioning disappointment in Aaron's grandfather getting himself killed. Upon hearing this, Aaron makes eye contact with Michael intentionally, but Michael explains to him that Aaron's eyes won't work on him, for he is a cursed soul, just like Aaron, even saying that he can't use his powers on Aaron in return. After telling Aaron to embrace his anger for everything they took from him, he has Aaron brought to the cannon in a cage, giving strict orders to take him to the kennel before he calms down.

Michael then looks behind him, seeing an offscreen Irene teleporting away the sword Aaron used. Michael mocks her, asking if that's the best she can do. He claims that she had the power to save everyone from dying, but she did nothing. After telling her she's all out of time, he told her she can run from him once he gains unlimited power, and he will enjoy every second of hunting her down.

Michael then managed to make the Celestial Cannon surface, destroying Starlight's central island due to the sheer size of the cannon as well as causing another tremor. He had also put Aaron (as an Ultima) in a massive chamber where he was waiting for whatever came to him as Irene tried convincing him to get out of there. As Michael was given a report on the cannon, none of the other rooms mattered to him as long as the central room was intact. His grin turned into a frown of annoyance when he was approached by Zack, who was enraged about the death of his daughter and that Michael never told him that he was going to kill her. Michael reminded Zack that he was so willing to put Ein in harm's way and that he assumed the same thing for his daughter. Zack loudly declared that they weren't the same. Michael wondered why Zack favored one child over the other, with Zack pointing out that Ein was a monster. Michael blames Zack for not being there for Ein, for not seeing how useful he was, how he sought greatness, and how proud he was of his heritage above anything else. In Michael's words, he needed a leader. Zach tells Michael that they both know that Ein was born that way. He just liked him because he enjoyed seeing people suffer beneath him. To Michael, Ein had so much potential, shaming that he let his ego get in the way. He wasn't able to think two steps ahead, therefore he was a liability. He confesses that he almost killed Ein himself, but in the end, Ein chose to serve him. He was merely a pawn, just like Aphmau. After being told again that Aphmau didn't deserve to die, Michael tells Zack to remember his place. All that he wanted and all he was willing to sacrifice. What was done was done. If Michael ever caught Zack question his decisions ever again, he will have no choice but to kill him. He then threatened to do the same to everyone else in the room with him as he told them to get the prototype ready and to bring Derek and Rowan there.

With the Ultima in place, one of his men mentioned that they still couldn't find the sword. In annoyance, Michael reminded them that they won't find it since Irene already took it away. Stepping to the console, Michael revealed the true purpose of the Celestial Cannon. It was able to move cosmic threats away from the planet and even destroy them, but at the cost of the lives of an entire civilization. He then revealed that it could also create relics, objects of absolute power, but sacrifices had to be made. He reveals that Irene wasn't the matron people documented her to be. She killed her own daughter in this very room by turning her into Shad's relic. And he was going to do the same to Aaron. Derek begged Michael to take him instead, but Michael reminded Derek that he no longer bared what he needed. Aaron's curse would forge the ultimate relic and all he needed to do was break him down. Now realizing that none of this was his or Aaron's fault, Derek angrily yelled at Michael while asking if he planned this. Michael confirmed this to Derek. He continued by saying that he is the sole reason the Ultima is feared, for he made sure that each barer of the curse, including Aaron, had a reason to kill. He then comments on how Aaron masterfully went berserk, and now he was the perfect sacrifice. A cursed soul with blood on his hands and a broken mind that was willing to die. He would be so easy to control.

Rowan told Michael that Aaron would never submit to him, But Michael didn't need him to, for his soul was so corrupt and broken that he won't resist anything. The relic he will forge will be of pure destruction and he will use it to break into Irene's realm to kill her slowly and end the cycle of rebirth. Then he will make himself the master of the entire world through global genocide. He then asked Zack to "show his loyalty" by pressing the button that activated the cannon, reminding him what will happen if he refuses. However, as Derek and Rowan (now down to their knees due to the Guardian Forces) begged Zack to not do it, he hesitated to press the button, clearly questioning his loyalty. Michael, losing his patience after yelling at Zack, then moved Zack aside and pressed the button himself. As Irene shielded Aaron from the cannon, Derek managed to escape his restraints with the help of Rowan and kicked Aaron away out of the cannon's ray as he himself was being defended by Irene with her forcefield, sacrificing his life. Derek was then turned into a normal relic by the cannon, to which Michael screamed several no's in anger.

Having no other choice, Michael decided to use Derek. He explained that the Celestial Cannon had far greater uses that what was just shown, and Derek's relic was going to give him the power he needed. With his hands on the relic, he had the Celestial Cannon rise from the ocean and into the sky. Walking with the relic to the top of the weapon to position himself between the soon to be coming souls and the crystal, he ridiculed Derek over several years of planning foiled when he decided to be a father, saying that he'll just have to do things the hard way. He absorbed it into himself to be able to withstand what was to come.

Despite Derek fighting, Michael was able to take control. Just as he was about to give orders to sap the souls of everyone below the weapon, Travis mentally stopped him, not allowing him to hurt anyone else. Michael pushes Travis aside, telling him to know his place and that his consciousness belonged to him. With Travis not giving up, he uses magic to subdue him, telling him that he waited far too long and that he was tired of the "pathetic excuse for a demon" and the rest of his son's descendants getting in the way. He gave orders to fire the weapon just as Rowan, Toby, and Holla approached him. With the weapon "killing" everyone trapped in Starlight and taking their souls, Michael absorbed all 50,000 of them and transformed into his true form - that of the Demon Warlock.

Derek then fought back again, but the Demon Warlock annoyingly resisted him. Despite his condition, Holla prepared to battle the Demon Warlock and told Rowan and Toby to find "the woman with raven hair" and give her a relic, for she was able to wield one. Despite the Demon Warlock attempting to stop Rowan and Toby from escaping, Holla managed to stop him from doing so. The Demon Warlock taunted the man for his failure to save his kind by sacrificing them to the weapon beforehand to stop Zeid, though Holla stood by his decisions to side with good. The Demon Warlock then viciously beat Holla offscreen (though during that time, Zane and Lucinda freed Garroth and Katelyn from his control, respectively), and then threw him off the cannon to his death, damaging the Celestial Cannon's flight mechanisms in the process and causing it to slowly plummet into freefall. He then encountered Terry, who was willing to sacrifice himself to save his son. The Demon Warlock began to choke the man and revealed to him that the latter's father had not disappeared; when Terry was his host, the Demon Warlock used Terry's body to kill him. Before he can kill Terry as well, Garroth and Katelyn arrive and the latter punches him, freeing Terry from his choke hold.

He gets up, impressed that Garroth and Katelyn broke free from his control, and remarks that humans tend to try to avoid death as much as possible. He says, "Shame to lose powerful warriors this way," before swatting Katelyn aside. Garroth impales the Warlock with his sword, but he is not affected, pulls the sword out, and heals his wound.

After the Demon Warlock defeated them both, he noticed that the cannon fired again. He was then approached by Aphmau, who now had glowing white eyes and held three relics made from Zane, Lucinda, and Aaron. He questions how a mere mortal could wield three relics at a time. He suddenly remembered Irene having the same capabilities and was in shock as she absorbed them and sprouted angel wings. Realizing that Aphmau was one of the three fragments of Irene’s soul, he decided to become more serious with her “playing God” and sent them both to Irene's realm so she could die a goddess, with the Demon Warlock now sporting black wings. During the fight, he managed to drive a sword into one of Aphmau’s wings and pin her to the wall. He then impersonates Travis asking them if they were really going to kill him. He explained that he still had everyone’s souls, so if he dies, they all die. Talking to Aaron, he tells him that he can't control him, but he can control "them." He then used his mind control powers on Aphmau (now wearing the clothes Ein gave her in Emerald Secret), Lucinda, and Zane, causing them to turn on Aaron inside of Aphmau’s consciousness. He mocks Aaron as he stands alone, like always. However, Aaron was able to free Aphmau from the Demon Warlock's control. He then took control of the fight and stabbed the Demon Warlock, sending them back to the cannon.

Kim and Ghost then used their magic to free Travis of the Demon Warlock's possession and send him back into Terry’s body. Both Terry and the Demon Warlock were destroyed when Zack fired the Celestial Cannon on them, which both returned all the souls to their rightful bodies and freed everyone under Michael’s control.

Because of Michael’s actions, Zane couldn’t remember people’s names, Lucinda lost her ability to use magic, Aaron went blind and lost his memories, Aphmau and Travis were hospitalized, Garte was kidnapped by Elizabeth, the Ro’Meaves no longer remember Garte thanks to her, Starlight Wonderland closed down indefinitely, and many people, including Derek, Rachel, Blaze, and Ein, lost their lives.

When Elizabeth saves Zack after he stayed in the Celestial Cannon, she called Michael an idiot. He was supposed to get just one relic since an Ultima's soul is worth a thousand souls, but the show he pulled was going to have people look for answers to what happened. And all they got in the end was a broken Ultima and a Celestial Cannon at the bottom of the ocean. Zack admits that they should've never trusted Michael. He never intended to fulfil any promises that he made to them. He was only planning to gain ultimate power as was going to kill both of them once he got what he wanted. However, Elizabeth still believes in his realm theory, in which the world they're in is one of many realms and that it will eventually fade into nothing, admitting that there wasn't that much time in their own realm left.

Appearance[]

Michael has pale skin, wears a gold and purple robe, along with lavender, gold and black gloves. His head also appears to be bald. His attire very heavily resembles his alias, the 'Snake Eyed Man,' a forever potion maker shown in the Emerald Secret episode "I Will Always Love You." When possessing Terry and Travis, he has their hair straightened out and has them dressed in a suit. For Terry, he wore a blue suit with a red tie. And for Travis, he wore a completely white suit.

As the Demon Warlock, he has purple eyes, black horns and black skin. He wears purple and gold clothing. He also seems to have goat-like legs. He is also able to sprout black angel wings. In his specter form, he wears a dark gray cloak and has small red eyes. He looks very similar to the Shadow Lord.

Appearances[]

Personality[]

Michael was a manipulative, cunning, power-hungry, and outright murderous individual who did not hesitate to betray even his closest allies.

Derek described Michael as "very charming, very witty, and very cunning." Derek notes that he was obsessed with witchcraft, potions, realms, and emeralds that contained raw power. His greatest obsession, however, was the Celestial Cannon, which he used to embed himself into a new relic, so he could kill Irene, put an end to reincarnation, and use global genocide to become ruler of the world.

He was sadistic, as he wasn't against having people killed, even unarmed citizens and his own men. Instead of showing remorse for his actions, he feels joy, as he once said, "We are going to kill so many people." He also smirked while giving orders to kill Melissa. (However, Toby was able to save her, but she was out of commission for the rest of the crisis.) He gathered the trapped guests in Starlight for an evacuation by boat, but one of the GF's pointed out that no boats were docked. This was actually a setup to have them killed by Aaron's eyes during his rampage. He also put Ein in harm's way despite him being his favorite, although he claimed it was due to Zack not caring.

Michael had shown to be quite difficult to outsmart, due to his large intelligence. Derek believed that Michael would call off the Guardian Forces if he turned himself in as the Ultima, but Michael knew that the curse passes down through generations, leaving one host to enter another. He even waited until Derek turned himself in before initiating the raid on the hotel, having known where they were hiding the whole time. He later tricked Lucinda, Kim, and Ghost into casting him out of Terry's body so he could possess a host that would give him more power. The only known time he was outsmarted in the past was when he was pushed into his own trap.

He also got enraged when things don't go his way, as seen Derek gave up his human form to save Aaron, turning into a weaker relic than Michael wanted in the process, causing Michael to constantly yell no in anger. However, he used the relic regardless, showing that he always had a backup plan.

He toyed with his opponents' emotions, mainly the Ultimas, Derek and Aaron, since he can't mind-control them. He was even the reason the Ultima was feared in the first place, for he interfered with the lives of each barer of the curse to give them a reason to kill in the hopes of obtaining the perfect sacrifice to forge a relic with.

As the Demon Warlock, he was very hostile, taken from the fact that he had tried to kill his son Travis at the very moment they met. He also had neglected Travis during his childhood and left Travis's mother, to raise their child by herself in the mountains. His hostility was no different when he regained his original form.

Trivia[]

  • Michael knows about the Lycan family secret and has been hunting them down for generations while also making the public afraid of the Ultima by giving them a reason to kill. It became personal when Derek sealed him in a trap meant for Garte, for he now wished to break him and Aaron to both get revenge on Derek and turn Aaron into the ultimate relic of destruction.
  • He is chronologically the first MyStreet villain to actually kill someone. His victims include most of the trapped guests in Starlight, Aaron's family, and his own men.
    • Despite orchestrating the deaths of so many people in Starlight, it can be questioned whether he really killed the remaining people on the island, as they came back to life as normal after their souls were returned to them at the end of the season.
  • Michael is later revealed to be the Demon Warlock.
  • Michael is the third character from Minecraft Diaries to appear in MyStreet, the first being Emmalyn/Ghost & the second being Lady Irene.
    • He is also the only character to appear as a villain in both Minecraft Diaries and MyStreet.
  • It is hinted that Terry's dad, while possibly possessed by Michael, killed Aaron's grandmother // Derek's mother. Which is what caused Aaron's grandfather // Derek's father to become enraged and be killed by Marcio, Toby's grandfather.
  • When possessing Travis, his eyes are lower on his face to match the position of Travis’ eyes on his player skin.
  • It is unknown whether or not Michael knew that Irene died after she saved Aaron or if she was weak to the point of dying beforehand.
    • It is also not known whether or not Michael planned to take the souls of everyone he trapped in Starlight from the start and not as a plan b. What he said to Holla suggests that he did.
  • Ironically, Michael is the name of the Archangel who defeated Lucifer in Christianity.
  • When Michael tells Holla that he once had a fathomless amount of power, he is speaking about the relic he once owned, which was taken away from him by Aphmau/Irene and Travis in episode 13 of MCD season 3.
  • According to what Derek and Elizabeth said, it is possible that Michael knew of the existence of other worlds and realms, which could include realms like Estorra and Daemos.
  • In "End of a Lifetime," Terry pointed out that the Celestial Cannon fired and that something went wrong, otherwise all of them would be dead right now, confirming that Michael planned to enact full genocide on the remainder of Starlight's trapped guests upon regaining his full power before going after Irene.
  • Even though machinima flashbacks showed Michael having his white hair during his time with Derek, Garte, Zack, and Elizabeth, in Derek's story, Michael was illustrated being bald.
  • It is possible that unlike Shad, Michael still refers to Lady Irene and MCD Aphmau as the same person.
  • Michael is immune to bullets.[3]
