Overview

"Her Wish" is a mini-series that premiered on December 6, 2017, and ended on December 9th. It tells the story of Alina, a fifteen year old girl from the Minecraft Diaries era who had lost her parents. Santa brings her to the future, where she goes under the alias of 'Renee' to spend Christmas with the reincarnations of her real parents, Aphmau and Aaron.

The series was made to bridge the long production gap between season 5 and 6.

Trivia

• Dante and Laurance finally appear for the first time since "Aphmau's Year".
• This most likely takes place during Christmas of 2018. Although with Aphmau still being at Starlight and Aaron being broken at the end of season 6, it's possible this takes place a year later in Christmas 2019.
• This mini-series taking place after season 6 tells us a lot about the aftermath of what happened on Starlight:
  • Aaron's void burns have healed and he most likely has some of his memory and eyesight back. Although in regards to the latter, it seems that's only the case when he has his Ultima eyes showing, which is why he is seen wearing the bandana.
  • Sylvanna, while acting awkward when mentioning Aaron, doesn't seem to despise him anymore. It's more than likely the events of season 6 were explained to her and she has since softened to Aaron again.
  • Zane has reverted back to calling people by their names instead of referring to them as numbers.
  • Travis is missing from the Christmas party, which means he's possibly still under the Guardian Force's care.
  • Kim's eyes are both orange again instead of one being a ghostly grey.
