"Alpha"

"Ultima"

(Episode starts with showing the front of PDH. Class has already started, so no one is waiting outside the school. The camera turns over to show Aaron walk up to the school. He pulls out his phone and calls Blaze)

Blaze: Hey!

Aaron: I'm outside. Where do you want to meet?

Blaze: You're really here?! Oh man, awesome! Hm. Meet me on the side of the school opposite the running track. Aphmau is on that side setting up the games.

Aaron: Got it. (He walks off to the side of the school)

(The screen changes to show Rylan, Dottie, and Aphmau working on stuff for the games)

Aphmau: (panting really hard)

Dottie: Aphmau, you really should take it easy!

Rylan: Yeah! Let us finish up the rest.

Aphmau: No. I'm going to help finish this up. The games are going to happen today!

Rylan and Dottie: Today?!

Aphmau: Yes. The sooner Ein is not alpha, the better.

Dottie: But Alpha, you're pushing yourself too hard to set this up!

Rylan: Yeah. Will you have enough strength left to challenge him today?

Aphmau: It doesn't matter. I'm so tired and done with the werewolves fighting each other. This will end today! (She goes back to hammering)

Dottie: We— just want you to be careful, Alpha. We didn't mean to make you mad.

Aphmau: (sighs) I'll be fine. Don't worry. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you guys. Its just, I want there to be peace with the werewolves at school.

Rylan: We're just worried about your health, Alpha.

Dottie: Yeah. We don't want you to push yourself.

Aphmau: Guys, heh, you know what, maybe I will take a break.

Dottie: Oh, really?!

Aphmau: Yeah, why not? I mean, it's so early in the day. And, if I'm challenging him, I do need my rest.

Rylan: Yeah, let us do some of the work!

Dottie: We're on it!

(Rylan and Dottie go back to work, and Aphmau watches them)

Aphmau: Just, don't work too hard.

Rylan: (at the same time as Dottie) We won't!

Dottie: (at the same time as Rylan) We won't work too hard!

(The werewolves keep working, and Aphmau walks over to the side of the building, where there's shade, and sits down. Kacey is on the stairs from the building, and notices Aphmau)

Kacey: Hey Aph!

Aphmau: Heh, morning, Kacey!

Kacey: (walking over to Aphmau) Morning! What are you doing out here so early?

Aphmau: Mm, we're setting up for the werewolf games going on. It's really important.

Kacey: Ah, I see. Looks like it's going to be intense.

Aphmau: Yeah, it is.

Kacey: Especially with that chain saw they're putting up.

Aphmau: (noticing them) Dottie! Rylan! Ah, ignore that.

Kacey: Well, speaking of ignoring, I- I'm sorry to bring this up, and if it seems rude, then, I'm sorry about that too.

Aphmau: Huh?

Kacey: (blushing a bit) Katelyn was talking about you the other day, and how you've been feeling down lately, so I've been trying to call you to see if you wanted to hang out sometime, bu-but you haven't been answering your phone, so I was wondering if I did something wrong.

Aphmau: If you did... Oh! Kacey! No, no, you haven't done anything wrong. It's just, my phone was stolen from me.

Kacey: (not blushing anymore) St-stolen from you?

Aphmau: Yeah. Two werewolves took it, but, I honestly think Ein has it.

Kacey: Ein? Oh, he's the alpha!

Aphmau: Heh, he's just a werewolf! (with a voice that makes it should like she's crying) I'm not too fond of him. He's been a real jerk to me lately.

Kacey: Aph? Are you crying?

Aphmau: (looking up, her face has tears on it) Huh?! Uh, no! Ah! I'm sorry, Kacey. I didn't mean to bring that up. I'm just... frustrated. Anyway, we can totally hang out some time. Maybe next week?

Kacey: Sure! I'll catch you around later, and we'll talk about details and stuff, okay?

Aphmau: Thanks for understanding, Kacey. (She hears the chainsaw going, and Rylan yelling) Ugh, Dottie! Put that down! I'm sorry, Kacey, I have to take care of this. I'll talk to you later! (She walks off)

Kacey: (watching Aphmau leave) She was crying. What did that Ein guy do to her?

(The screen changes to show Blaze on the other side of the school, waiting for Aaron. Aaron walks up to him)

Blaze: You honestly have no idea how happy I am you're here. Things haven't been good at all.

Aaron: Where's Aphmau?

Blaze: She's running the werewolf games today, so she's been hard at work on the obstacle course.

Aaron: Werewolf games?

Blaze: Yeah. She made them up. It's her way to have the werewolves compete with each other without having to fight. Ein and her are in the games, but a few other werewolves are going to play as well.

Aaron: Why? I thought this was between her and Ein.

Blaze: It is. And if she beats Ein, he has to step down. But we still have to have an alpha male, so others are competing for this. Honestly, it helps her in the long run, but she... she's a real mess.

Aaron: How so?

Blaze: She's just worn out. You should have seen how she took care of all the werewolves throughout the year. At first, she wasn't a great alpha. She kinda let things go, but she really grew into her position. After Ein stepped up as alpha male, well, that really undid all her hard work.

Aaron: What do you mean?

Blaze: Aside from you, Aphmau is our first human alpha. It really brought out the best in everyone. She taught a lot of us how to talk out our frustrations.

Aaron: The fighting needs to end. If that's all people see us for, then that's all we'll become.

Blaze: I couldn't agree more. But honestly, I don't know how to stop it aside from fighting. I've tried to use my words, but when someone comes at me, I have to defend myself, man.

Aaron: Let me take care of the fighting. I don't go here anymore, so the werewolves can't place blame on me. If you're to be alpha, you should lead by example, and not use your fists.

Blaze: Haha, sounds like you have a plan.

Aaron: Something like that.

Blaze: I'm all ears, man.

Aaron: You're going to win the werewolf games, Blaze.

Blaze: Huh?

Aaron: Blaze, you need to become alpha.

Blaze: Me? But, how am I going to do that?

Aaron: Ugh, you're going to have to enter the werewolf games!

Blaze: Right... right! Gotcha! Seriously, though. How am I going to do that? There's no way I can win the games if Ein is competing. He's just going to get his lackeys to trip me up or something. He isn't exactly known to play fair. I feel bad for all the others competing.

Aaron: Ein won't be there. I'll make sure of it.

Blaze: How?

Aaron: I'll keep Ein away from the games while they're going on. If he doesn't show up, then people will see him for the coward that he is. All you need to do is participate and win.

Blaze: But, why me?

Aaron: Blaze, you've shown that you've cared about everyone. You've been helping Aph without even being asked. You've called for help when you needed it. You'll make a great alpha.

Blaze: Uh— Thank you.

Aaron: I'm glad that someone like you will be alpha. Now, do you think that you can win the games?

Blaze: Absolutely! Leave it to me! But, is there anything else I can do to help?

Aaron: I'll challenge him in the gym before the games. Just, make sure that Aphmau stays out of this. She doesn't need to know about me being here, or our plan to help her. I want to to be like I was never here at all.

Blaze: Absolutely.

Aaron: Thanks. Now, what time are the games?

Blaze: After school, around 3:30.

Aaron: Gotcha. I'll keep Ein from the games. You, go and win them.

Blaze: On it! Again, thank you so much. (He leaves)

Aaron: Heheh. Now, to make sure Ein stays away from the games.

(The scene changes to Ein, Jax, and Ryder in the boys' bathroom, talking)

Jax: You excited for the werewolf games?

Ein: Heh, I'm excited for Aphmau to be my girlfriend.

Ryder: Are you really that confident you can beat her?

Ein: She's a human. Of course I'm going to beat her! She has no chance of standing up to me in the games.

Jax: Yeah, but no one ever thought a human would become alpha. And, here we are one year later.

Ein: Look, if she starts to win, we'll just have to make sure she doesn't! I have so many werewolves on my side, she won't stand a chance!

Ryder: Speaking of which, Ein, something we wanted to ask you about.

Ein: Hmm?

Ryder: Well, it just seems kind of weir that you want her to be your girlfriend. I mean, we don't like humans, right? Why is having her be your girlfriend a big deal?

Ein: Control.

Jax and Ryder: Huh?

Ein: Even though a lot of werewolves look up to me, they still love her. I don't know why. She's nothing special. But still, they do. I can't simply dismiss her, or I won't have all the respect I deserve. Which is why when she's mine, I can control everything.

Jax: Nice!

Ryder: Heh, for a second there, we thought you had the hots for some human.

Ein: Heh. She's not perfect. But, if she had the ears and tail, she might be.

Jax: You want us to twist her ankle? Then she won't be able to compete in the games.

Ryder: Or we could make her fall on her face.

Ein: Keep that in mind. I may need it later in the—

Kacey: (coming out of the bathroom, angry) DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Jax: What the—?!

Ryder: Huh?

Ein: You two told me you sensed no one here!

Jax: We didn't! He must have been quiet, like a mouse or some—

Kacey: I heard everything! How dare you talk about treating someone like that! That isn't right at all!

Ein: Hmph.

Kacey: I heard everything you said about Aphmau. It's not right. No wonder she hates you!

Ein: Hate is such a powerful word.

Kacey: Well you deserve it!

Ein: Back down, human.

Kacey: No! I won't! You're a bad person, and I'm going to- I'm gonna—

Ein: Hahaha! You're such a meek human. What are you even going to do? (Kacey slaps Ein's face) You. Slapped. Me.

Kacey: (now scared) I- I-I-

Jax: We can take care of 'im.

Ein: Heh, no.

Ryder: Huh?

Ein: He's weak. I'll take this one.

Kacey: Wha— (Ein punches him really hard in the stomach, knocking him over) Ooh, ow!

Ryder: Nice punch.

Ein: I'm not done yet.

(The screen changes to show the obstacle course that is set up for the games)

Aphmau: Heh, that took forever. I'm just glad we got everything ready in time for after school. Dottie, what time is it?

Dottie: (checking the time on her phone) It's- mm, 1:00.

Aphmau: One?! Oh, ugh, we missed lunch!

Rylan: No worries, I have some buns!

Aphmau: Did you... steal those again?

Rylan: Nope! Not this time. I brought my own. Look! I even have weenies!

Aphmau: Oh my gosh I love weenies! Can I have one?

Rylan: Sure. There's plenty more where that came from.

Aphmau: Awesome, thank you so much! (She eats one of the weenies)

Dottie: So, Alpha, there's a lot of werewolves competing now. Are you sure you want to do this?

Aphmau: Positive. Besides, as long as I beat Ein, that's all that matters. Speaking of buns, where's Daniel?

Dottie: Hmm, good question. Probably couldn't get out of class.

Rylan: Yeah. He hasn't gotten the best grades lately, so he probably couldn't get out.

Aphmau: Aww, I understand. Anyway, let's eat, and then set up the rules. We got a lot of work to do.

(As they talk, the camera zooms out and shows Aaron watching them from around the corner)

Aaron: Aph... I'm so sorry you have to go through this. (He turns around, walks to the back of the school, and takes out his phone)

(The music changes, and the screen shows Ein walking down the hallway, his cheek still red from when Kacey slapped him)

Ein: Hm? What's this? (He holds up his hand, which is holding his phone) Mmgh, there's still blood on my hands. Whatever. Now, let's see.

(The camera stay showing Ein during the whole text conversation)

Aaron: (when he texts, his emoji comes up) "Hello?"

Ein: Hahaha! This guy Aaron again? Jeez! He's so desperate to know what he did wrong! What a loser. "What do you want?"

Aaron: "Wait, you're texting me back? That means you've found your phone!"

Ein: Huh? What is he talking about? I'd better respond with something generic. "Yeah"

Aaron: "Awesome! I'm glad you found it! I was really worried when you told me you lost it last night. I'm glad we cleared things up ❤"

Ein: WHAT?! THEY TALKED?! Darn it! This isn't good.

Aaron: "By the way, I'm rooting for you! The guy you were talking about sounds like a total loser. I bet you can kick his butt any day!"

Ein: She talked about me without my permission?! (Uh, yeah? You talk about her without her permission all the time) Ugh! (Sighs heavily) Calm down. I still have the upper hand as long as I play it safe. " I know what I said but... I'm still scared of the werewolf games... Ein is tough".

Aaron: "Yeah, but you can absolutely take him! Are you still planning to fight him in the gym before the werewolf games?"

Ein: Fight me in the gym? I haven't heard anything about this. "I think..."

Aaron: "You should! But remember, don't challenge him to his face. Start the rumor that you said you're going to challenge him in the gym before the werewolf games so that way it can spread. Then when he doesn't show up, everyone will think he's a total coward!" "He'll be at the werewolf games waiting for you when you're actually ready to fist fight him— no one will respect him then! 😂"

Ein: That's absolutely underhanded! How dare she! She thinks I'm some kind of fool?! "Heheheh, that is a good plan! 😊"

Aaron: "Yup! Just like we talked about last night. Remember, you can do this, Aph. I believe in you."

Ein: Disgusting. "Yeah, I believe in me too"

Aaron: "Talk to you later"

Ein: So, she's planning on starting a rumor, is she? One that's going to make me look bed. Ha! She's not expecting me to show up. But when I do, the look on her face will be priceless! Hahaha! I'll even show up early, and scare her out of her mind! Then, we'll fight. (Ein walks off)

(The scene changes to show Aaron looking at his phone behind the school)

Aaron: Hahaha. He has no idea who will really be waiting for him. (And neither do you) (He looks around) (sighs) I'll have to wait to head in. If Mr. Gavin finds me, my father will never let me hear the end of it. (He walks off)

(The screen changes to show a bunch of people going to the field to watch the games, both werewolves and non-werewolves alike. Aphmau is standing on a platform, just like she was when Ein was picked, and Dottie and Rylan are standing behind the platform, talking to each other)

Aphmau: Heh, looks like everyone's starting to show up.

Dottie: Yeah! Well, we still have awhile to wait until we begin. School just let out!

Rylan: We'll make sure everything is ready.

Dottie: You okay?

Aphmau: Yeah, I'm fine. Just, I know I can win. I have to win.

Dottie: That's right! And we'll be here cheering you on, all the way!

Rylan: Yeah! And when Daniel get here, we'll be so loud that Ein will mess up!

Dottie: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Aphmau: Thanks guys. Looks like the others who are going for Ein's spot are showing up too. (sighs) This is going to be intense.

Blaze: Hey Aph! Man, you look tired. Are you sure you're going to be okay?

Aphmau: Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm ready to challenge Ein.

Blaze: Heh, dude will probably show up late.

Dottie and Rylan: Blaze!

Blaze: Ah, hey Dottie, Rylan. Hm, where's the other dude that hangs out with you guys? Daniel?

Dottie: Oh! Daniel? Um, he's probably in the locker rooms. He has gym class as his last period, so he'll probably be here any minute!

Rylan: Hahaha, are you kidding me, Dottie? Daniel takes forever to get dressed. He waits until everyone is gone.

Aphmau: No, I totally get that. I feel the same way.

Blaze: Wait. Daniel's near the gym?!

(Start flashback)

(Aaron is talking to Blaze on the side of the school)

Aaron: I'll challenge him in the gym before the games.

(End flashback)

Blaze: Uh, I- I need to go somewhere real quick. Uh, be right back!

Aphmau: You can't go now, Blaze. The games are about to start! If you leave, you can't enter!

Blaze: B-but I— (sighs) Okay. B-but, I need to make a phone call real quick.

Aphmau: Okay! But, don't take too long.

(The screen shows the lockers outside of the gym, and a lot of punching is heard. Then, the screen shows 2 werewolves fighting in the hallway)

Werewolf 1: Is that all you've got?

Werewolf 2: Ha, bring it! You'll pay for looking at me weird!

Aaron: (seeing them and walking over, angry) Stop. Fighting. Now!

Werewolves: Huh?

Aaron: You both heard me.

Werewolf 1: W-Wait,

Werewolf 2: Aaron?!

Werewolf 1: You're, heh, you're not our alpha anymore. We can do as we want. So stand down and— (Aaron punches him)

Werewolf 2: W-why you— (Aaron punches him too)

(Now, both of the werewolves are on the floor. Aaron turns around, and walks off. The scene changes to Maria in the hallway, talking to two mean werewolves)

Maria: You guys better leave me alone, or I'll be forced to hurt you.

Werewolf 1: Aww, don't be like that. We just wanted to talk, and see if you wanted to—

(Aaron appears and punches both of the other werewolves (Not Maria, but the other two werewolves))

Aaron: She said leave her alone! Now stand down! (He walks off)

Maria: Huh? That was... A-Aaron.

(The camera shows Aaron continue to walk down the hallway, when his phone rings. He looks at his phone)

Aaron: Blaze?

(The screen changes to show Ein walking to the gym. He opens the doors, looks around, then enters. He hides, then hears footprints)

Ein: There she is. (He walks out from the pillar that he was hiding behind) Thought you could outsmart me, you little— (He realizes that it is Daniel who is angrily standing in front of Ein, with his hand pointing towards Ein, not Aphmau)

Daniel: I challenge you, Ein.

Ein: What the—? Hahahaha! Oh, this should be fun. (Ein walks over to Daniel)

(The camera shows the outside of Phoenix Drop High for 10 seconds, then the screen shows the outro screen)
