"Salsa with Travis!" is the 9th episode of MyStreet Phoenix Drop High. It premiered on April 15th, 2016.

"Aphmau and her mom get ready for dinner with with Ro'maeve's!"

Summary

The episode begins with Aphmau and Sylvanna preparing for dinner. Aphmau heads to her room and chats with FC for a while. Aphmau then heads back down when Travis knocks on the door. Sylvanna gets mad when she hears a boy, but when she realizes it's Aphmau's not alone buddy, she is okay with Travis being there.

Sylvanna asks Aphmau, and Travis to get some chili peppers. Outside, Travis says he likes Aphmau's home and said she could come over to his house sometime. They talk in the garden until Sylvanna reminds them to hurry. Aphmau and Sylvanna drop Travis off before going to the dinner.

When they arrive Zianna greets them, and Garroth walks in. Sylvanna brings up the idea that if Aphmau gets married to one of the boys she would be family. Zianna and Sylvanna walk to finish preparing for dinner. Aphmau and Garroth are left alone as the episode ends.

Trivia

• Jeffory and Katelyn are currently in a relationship.
• The episode is the beginning of Travis harboring his crush to Katelyn and Katelyn's interest of plays and theatre. 
• Although the thumbnail features Travis eating hot salsa, this never occurred during the episode. 
• This marks the first time Sylvanna (Aphmau's mother) has spoken proper Spanish, her Spanish was accompanied by English subtitles. She says: "Pero en el momento en que te mira con los ojos del diablo te juro que voy a golpearlo en la cabeza tan rápido", which translates to, as said by the subtitles, "But the moment he looks at you with devil eyes I swear I'll smack him upside the head so fast", with "he" being Travis.
  • This also is the first time Sylvanna is seen with a dialogue without a voice, the name tag says "Mom."
