"The Prince's Desire", formerly known as "To The Other Side", is the first episode of My Inner Demons. It premiered on June 29, 2019.

Summary[]
On Daemos, Noi, Pierce, Leif, and Rhys battle over a human soul to be the first to bring it to Asch, the prince of Daemos. They are caught by Asch and Lady Grandma, the latter of whom flirts with Pierce and scolds Noi for “speaking ill of the dead.” The group collects the soul to take back to Lady Grandma’s chambers in the castle.
To complete her potion, Lady Grandma needs the soul to be given to her by one of the daemos: the five fight over who it’s going to be, until Asch and Rhys agree to volunteer Noi, the lowest ranking out of all of them. With the last soul and all of Noi’s magic, Lady Grandma is able to finish it. Potion in hand, Asch tells his knights that if their loyalty wavered, he would kill them — startling Rhys, Noi, and Leif. He then casts the spell using the potion, creating a portal to Earth. One by one Asch and his knights go through the portal, and Lady Grandma sends Mirage after them.
On Earth, Ava tries to sleep in, but is woken up by her cat, Johnny and kept awake by a call from Lorelai, who invites her to an anime convention. Ava realizes that she’s out of food for both her and Johnny and gets ready to go to the grocery store (where she also has a job interview.) On her way out, she runs into her landlord Jake outside of her door — then realizes that she forgot to take out the trash.
In an alley, the Daemos take their first steps on Earth and almost instantly struggle with its climate — all of them have trouble breathing the atmosphere, and Noi and Asch have issues with the brightness of the sun on their fairer skin. They start to get used to the conditions, but not before Asch passes out. All of the Daemos try to heal him, but none of them are able to reach him, still incapacitated by the shock.
Meanwhile, Ava is taking her trash out to the dumpster behind her apartment when she finds the weakened daemos. The daemos feel threatened by her, especially when she runs over and gives Asch CPR, reviving him — though the rest of the daemos think she’s “sucking his organs out.” Pierce recovers enough to pull Ava off of Asch, hanging her on a nearby tree branch by her hood.
The Daemos then walk off into the city, first encountering fangirls who blind them with photos, then cosplayers with faux horns. Noi runs over to the cosplayers, greeting them like brothers, only to faint when the cosplayers take one of their horns off. The rest of the daemos surround him, and Asch concludes that they need a human prisoner to guide them, leading the Daemos back to Ava.
Asch orders Ava to get down, when she tells him she’s not interested in his roleplay, he gets frustrated and burns the tree she’s hanging on down, making her fall down. Startled by his magic use, Ava grabs Asch’s horn, realizes that they’re real, and passes out. Johnny appears at Asch’s legs and the Daemos follow him, assuming he’s a spirit. Pierce is last of the daemos to follow, carrying Ava in his arms.
