Chapter 1 ~ The Aphmau Fan Club
RING! RING!
Karina looked up from her sketchbook and saw that the bell had rung. Quickly, she grabbed her sketchbook, backpack, and jacket and bolted out of the classroom before the teacher could dismiss the class. Karina dashed out of the school and was about the cross the street when-
CRASH!
Karina fell on her butt, with her sketchbook flying out of her hands. She had just bumped into someone. The loose papers in her sketchbook had fallen out and were scattered across the floor.
"Ow...I really should've been walking instead of running..." Karina muttered to herself. She then looked up, and groaned in annoyance when she saw who she had bumped into.
Karina had bumped into Gabe, her former friend.
"OW!" Gabe cried in pain. He looked up and smiled when he saw Karina. "Karina! Hey, long time no see! How've you been?"
"Shut up." said Karina. She started to pick up her papers and silently cursed under her breath. Gabe noticed this and started to help Karina out. Karina only rolled her eyes when she saw Gabe helping her. Gabe noticed a piece of paper lying in one of the bushes, picked it up, and scanned it.
There was a picture on the paper that had four people on it, three girls, and one boy. The first girl had long lilac hair, black eyes, and wore a purple flannel jacket with light blue jeans and brown boots. The second girl had short brown hair, blue eyes, and wore a long sleeved blue shirt with a white skirt and brown boots. The third girl had brownish-reddish hair tied up in a ponytail, brown eyes, and wore a black and white shirt with white shorts and white boots. The boy had bright pink hair, green and blue eyes, and wore a set of gray armour. Gabe was amazed by the drawing.
"Woah, Karina, did you draw these people?" asked Gabe, admiring the drawing.
Karina turned around, and turned white when she saw the drawing in Gabe's hand. Quickly, she snatched the drawing from her former friend's hands and stuffed it in her backpack. She then started to walk off.
"H-Hey, wait up!" yelled Gabe.
"Leave me alone..."
"Karina..."
"I don't want to talk to you."
"But-"
"Bye Gabe."
Karina left Gabe standing by himself and started walking towards home. Normally, she would've stopped and listened to whatever anyone would have to say, but Gabe, he was a different story.
Ugh, why can't that boy just leave me alone? thought Karina. I know he wants to start over, but I can never forgive him. Not after everything that he did to me and my friends...
"Alright eveyone, now before we begin today's meeting of the Aphmau Fan Club, let's take roll call. Allison?"
"Here."
"Blake?"
"Here!"
"Maya?"
"Wassup!"
"Elena?"
"Bonjour!"
"Karina?"
"Hoi!"
"Great, looks like everyone is here. Now we can begin."
Karina watched as her club leader, Liberty, started to pull out two giant books. Those books were known as the book as ships, and the theory book. Her sister and brother, Allison and Blake, started turning on the laptops while Elena and Maya, Karina's BFF's, went downstairs to get the snacks. Karina then pulled out the drawing that Gabe had looked at earlier, and smiled when she saw the characters in the picture.
Amethyst, Mousie, Hannah, and Charlie. Those were the names of the OC's she had made for her favorite web-series: Minecraft Diaries.
One might ask, what exactly was Minecraft Diaries? Minecraft Diaries was the name of a popular Minecraft series created by a popular Youtuber known as Aphmau.
Karina, Allison, Blake, Liberty, Elena, and Maya LOVED Aphmau. Everyday after school, the six friends would gather at Karina's house, and they would watch the latest Aphmau video.
"Karina?"
"Hmm?" Karina looked up and Liberty staring at her. "Yes Liberty?"
"Can you go get my Garmau book from the living room?" asked Liberty. "I left it there yesterday, and I know how much you love to snoop through it, so I thought maybe you'd be able to get it."
"Eeeekkk! I LOVE the Garmau book! I'll glady get it for you!" squealed Karina. Before Liberty could say anthing else, Karina bolted downstairs, and fangirled when she saw the Garmau book.
Garmau was a ship that Karina and Liberty loved. The ship was between Aphmau and Garroth. Karina and Liberty were both convinced that by the end of the first season of Minecraft Diaries, Garmau would sail. They were planning to throw a party to celebrate Garmau, at least until, he came and swept Aphmau away.
Karina opened the Garmau book and giggled when she saw the fanart and fanfictions about Garmau in the book. She was about to read a fanfic when the doorbell rang. Curious, she put the book down and answered the door. But as soon as Karina opened the door, she immediatley wished she didn't.
"Hi Karina!" said Gabe, giving Karina a friendly smile. "Can I come in?"
"No." Karina was about to slam the door shut when Gabe held onto the door to prevent it from closing.
"Karina, please, I just wanna talk!"
"Oh yeah, well guess what? I don't. So buh bye."
"Look, I know you're not a fan of me at the moment, but I want to explain myself!"
"My friends and I gave you plenty of chances to explain yourself, and you threw it all away! Now leave before I get out my baseball bat! You remember what happened to Donny, don't you?!"
"How could I forget? You sent him to the hospital!"
"Exactly, and that's were you're going if you don't leave!"
"Karina, I-"
"You know what, that's it."
Karina grabbed the Garmau book and threw it at Gabe's face. Gabe let out a cry of pain, and touched his nose, which was now bleeding. Karina quickly got the Garmau book, and ran inside the house.
"AND STAY OUT!" yelled Karina, before slamming the door shut.
Karina quickly ran up the stairs, went into the meeting room, gave the book to Liberty, and sat on her chair.
God, that boy is annoying...thought Karina. Hopefully it'll be a long time before I see him again...
