When Worlds Collide
Chapter 4
(Aphmau P.O.V.)
Once Liochant told me that Emmalyn and Kenmur were missing, I quickly gathered Garroth, Laurance, Dante, Travis, and Katelyn and told them to help me search for Emmalyn and Kenmur. I put Zoey and Isabell in charge of Alina and Lilith, and quickly headed towards the gate.
Before I could leave, I heard a familar voice call out to me.
"Mom!"
I turned around and saw my two sons, Levin and Malachi running towards me.
"What is it?" I asked.
"We heard about Emmalyn and Kenmur, and we want to help look for them," said Levin. "After all, a lord must help out his people."
"Well, I suppose you guys can help. But stay safe, okay?"
"Don't worry mom, I'll protect Levin," said Malachi.
"HEY!" said Levin.
"Oh come on bro, you know I'm the better fighter."
"If you're the better fighter, then why did I save your butt back when you were cornered by those monsters?"
"I was sick that day! Plus, I had something in my eye..."
"Sure you did..."
I giggled to myself and got onto my horse. Before I could ride away, Garroth came up to me.
"Um, Aphmau, can I talk to you?" asked Garroth.
"Sure," I said. "What is it?"
"Don't you think it's a little weird that Liochant was the one who told you that Emmalyn and Kenmur were missing? I mean, he WAS the last person seen with them, and he is from-"
"Garroth, stop. I know where you're going with this, and I don't like it. For the last time, just because Liochant is form Tu'la doesn't mean he's been sent to spy on us. Plus, he's a member of the Dragon Ward, and Katelyn trusts him."
"Well, I don't trust him."
"Well, I trust him. And you need to respect that, even if he is from Tu'la. Now, we're done talking about this. Let's just go look for Emmalyn and Kenmur. And I don't want to hear anymore of your Liochant theories for the rest of the week. Have I made myself clear?"
"Yes Aph..."
"Good. Now, let's go look for our favorite nerds."
(Normal P.O.V.)
As Aphmau rode away with the others following her, Garroth pulled a purple rose from his pocket. He had gotten the rose when he and Aphmau went to the Phoenix Capital. He discovered it in a abandoned house, and he had been meaning to give it to Aphmau ever since.
Why can't I just tell her how I feel? thought Garroth. I mean, I already told her, but I need to tell her again, somewhere more special. But...I know she loved Aaron...and I can't make her feel as if I'm only confessing to her now that Aaron's gone...but I still have feelings for her...
Garroth only sighed and put the rose back in his pocket. He then got on his horse, and followed the others.
I love you Aphmau, and I'll always love you...
(Karina P.O.V.)
It's been two hours since Amethyst left to go look for my friends, and I'm honestly getting worried. Yeah, I made Amethyst to be an AWESOME fighter, but I'm still worried.
I looked at my phone, and saw that it was at 28%. "Damn it..." I muttered, since I knew that this world didn't have any phone chargers or outlets for that matter.
I got up from my tree stump and questioned whether to go look for my OC or not. I mean, she couldn't have gone that far, right?
Oh who am I kidding, it's been two hours, of course she's gone that far!
I got on my horse, and rode away, looking for Amethyst. You guys may think it's silly that I'm worried about Amethyst, but she's my OC, and I care about her!
"AMETHYST!" I yelled out. "AMETHYST, WHERE ARE YOU?"
I continued yelling out her name, but she didn't reply. At this point, I was this close to having a heart attack.
What if she fell off a cliff somewhere? What if she got kidnapped? What if she got killed by a shadow knight?
PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER KARINA!
I slapped myself right across the face and continued searching for Amethyst. I was about to turn back when I heard something.
"LET US GO!"
"YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THIS!"
"NEVER, YOU IDIOTS!"
I felt my heart race when I heard the voices. Those exact voices sounded EXACTLY like Emmalyn, Kenmur, and...
Zane....
I got off my horse and followed the sound of the voices. Was it really Emmalyn, Kenmur, and Zane?
As I walked more, the voices grew louder and louder. I eventually showed up at a cave and peeped inside. Once I saw what was inside, I felt like fangirling, fainting, and vomiting at the same time.
Turns out, my theory was right! It was Emmalyn, Kenmur, and Zane in the cave! THIS WAS SO COOL!
"How are you alive anyway?!" asked Emmalyn.
"That is none of your business!" yelled Zane.
A million thoughts filled my head. Should I go in and try to rescue Emmalyn and Kenmur? Or should I stay and watch? I mean, it's not like I can just break Emmalyn and Kenmur out, and get away with it! I mean, Zane is there, and he has a sword! And I don't!
"Shoot...what do I do?" I muttered.
"You don't have to do anything. I got this."
I turned around and saw Amethyst standing right behind me with her sword out.
"Amethyst!" I cried out. "You're okay!"
"Of course I'm okay," said Amethyst. "Now, are you ready to see your OC in action?"
"YES!"
"Good, because I am too. Now, let's rescue those poor people."
(Normal P.O.V.)
Amethyst ran into the cave and pushed Zane into the ground. Zane sat up and looked at Amethyst angrily.
"YOU AGAIN?! WHY YOU LITTLE..."
"Save it, cyclops!"
"GGGRRR!"
Karina watched as Amethyst and Zane began to fight. She quickly ran over to Emmalyn and Kenmur and untied them.
"Are you two okay?!" asked Karina. She would've been fangirling, but Emmalyn and Kenmur's safety was more important.
"Yeah, we're fine!" answered Kenmur.
Zane pushed Amethyst to the floor and saw that Karina untied Emmalyn and Kenmur.
"HEY! WHO SAID THAT YOU COULD UNTIE MY PRISONERS?!" yelled Zane.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" screamed Karina.
As Zane ran over to Karina, Karina quickly remembered that she had some pepper spray in her pocket. Just as Zane was about to slash her, Karina pulled out her pepper spray and sprayed it at Zane's eye.
"AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!" screamed Zane. He quickly fell to the floor in pain. Amethyst then ran up to him and knocked him out cold.
"There. He should be out for at least two hours," said Amethyst.
"Thank you two so much for rescuing us!" said Emmalyn. "You have no idea how thankful my husband and I are!"
"We owe you two big time," said Kenmur. "Our names our-"
"EMMALYN AND KENMUR!" yelled Karina. Emmalyn and Kenmur only stared at her.
"How do you know our names?" asked Emmalyn.
"It's a long story..." said Amethyst.
"EMMALYN! KENMUR!"
Karina, Amethyst, Emmalyn, and Kenmur turned around, and saw a very pleasing sight.
Standing at the entrance of the cave was...
