When Worlds Collide
Chapter 9
The sun was beginning to set, and nightime was approaching. Aphmau was at her home doing the dishes, Alina and Lilith were fast asleep in bed, and Levin, Malachi, and Karina were in the living room, watching Celestia and Thorgina play with each other.
"They are literally so cute," said Karina. "It makes me want to adopt a puppy of my own."
"Malachi and I were thinking of getting another puppy, and surprising our mom with it," mentioned Levin.
"What type of puppy do you guys have in mind?" asked Karina.
"Possibly a Golden Retriever, or a Dalmation." answered Malachi.
"Hmm...I think you guys should get the Golden Retriever. Not just because it's cute, but because I think it would fit Aphmau's personality."
"We'll keep that in mind. Say, Karina, can we ask you something?" asked Levin.
"Ask away."
"You said your friends were teleported here too. Where are they?"
"....................I honestly don't know if they're even in this world. When I woke up, I didn't even see any of my friends with me. It's been two days since I got stuck in this world, and Amethyst and I haven't heard any word of my friends."
"What are your friends names?"
"Allison, Blake, Maya, Elena, and Liberty."
"Well, I'm sure your friends will show up eventually. Say, speaking of Amethyst, where is she? She kinda disappeared after Garroth brought up..." Malachi looked into the kitchen to make sure his mother wasn't listening, and turned back to Karina. "The death of Aaron."
"Actually, now that I think of it, I haven't seen Amethyst since we gathered here. It's getting late, and she should be here by now. I wonder where she-"
Before Karina could finish her sentence, there was a knock on the door, and Karina got up from her seat and went to get the door. When she opened it, she saw Amethyst waving goodbye to Liochant, who was walking towards the guard tower. Amethyst then turned around and smiled when she saw her creator.
"Hey Karina." said Amethyst.
"Hi Amethyst. Mind telling me where you disappeared off to?"
"I went to go check up on Liochant, to make sure he was okay."
Karina then felt her heart race. She had just remembered that she shipped Amethyst and Liochant.
Wait, is LiochantxAmethyst actually gonna happen? thought Karina. Oh my Irene, I might just faint if they fall in love.
"Uh, Karina, are you okay?" asked Amethyst.
"Oh, I'm just fine! Come on in, Levin, Malachi, and I were just talking!"
Karina led Amethyst into the living room, where Levin and Malachi were talking with their mother. Aphmau smiled when she saw Amethyst walk in.
"Oh hello Amethyst! Where were you? You kinda just disappeared on us."
"I went to see if Liochant was okay."
"Aww, that's nice of you. You gonna stay up?"
"Nah, I think I'm gonna go to bed. I had a long day, and I kinda just want to end it."
"Alright then. Your bedroom is right upstairs."
"I think I'm gonna head to bed too. Levin and I are supposed to head to the Phoenix Capital tomorrow for a meeting with the council." said Malachi
"So am I." said Levin.
"Goodnight my boys." said Aphmau sweetly.
"Night mom." said Malachi.
"Goodnight momma." said Levin.
Amethyst, Levin, and Malachi headed upstairs, and soon, it was just Karina and Aphmau in the living room.
"So, Karina," said Aphmau. "you said that in your world, I was a Youtuber. What is that exactly?"
"Oh um, well, it's kinda hard to explain," said Karina. "But a Youtuber is basically someone who uploads videos to entertain certain audiences. Depending on how many views the video gets, the Youtuber gets money."
"What type of videos do I upload?"
"Well, you mainly upload roleplay videos. Most of them are Minecraft Diaires, MyStreet, Dreams of Estorra, and so much more. And sometimes, you react to fan videos, and you play different types of games."
"Interesting. How many subscribers do I have?"
"Way to many to count."
"How does it feel to finally meet me?"
"It feels amazing. I never thought that in my entire life, I would get the chance to meet you, the great Aphmau. I have so many questions to ask you, but I know that most of them you won't be willing to answer."
"And what type of questions would those be?"
"Well, they're mainly about, well, Aaron..."
"...................."
"Why did you fall in love with him anyway? I mean it was way to-"
"Falling in love with Aaron was one of the stupidest things I've ever done."
"W-What?"
"I don't even know what came over me! One minute we're friends, and all of a sudden, he and I fool around and I get pregnant with his baby! And you know what he goes and does? He decides to kill himself!"
"B-But, didn't he do it to-"
"Save Garroth? I know, and I will forever be grateful for that. But Aaron didn't even bother to think about Alina, or Lilith, or even me! Why would he go and kill himself when he knew that I was pregnant! With HIS child!"
"Aph..."
"IT'S AS IF HE DIDN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT ME AT THAT TIME! HE KNEW THAT I WOULD HAVE TO RAISE ALINA AND LILITH ON MY OWN, AND HE LEFT ME DEPRESSED!"
"........."
"I WENT THROUGH SO MUCH GRIEF OVER THAT SELFISH MAN! GARROTH AND LAURANCE HATED ME AFTER I TOLD THEM I WAS PREGNANT WITH AARON'S CHILD! I HATE AARON! I HATE HIM, I HATE HIM, I HATE HIM!"
Aphmau quickly broke down and tears, leaving Karina speechless. After what seemed like forever, Aphmau finally spoke.
"...As much as I hate Aaron...I still care about him as my friend...but I can never, never, ever forgive him for what he did to my emotions..."
"Do...you need some time to think?" asked Karina.
"...Y-Yes. I do."
"O-Okay then...goodnight..."
Karina headed upstairs, leaving Aphmau alone. Aphmau let more tears get to her, and decided to get over it.
"No..." she said, standing up. "I'm done crying. I can't think of him anymore. He's gone, and gone for good. Besides, I'm in love with someone else now. Maybe...if I write in my diary, then maybe...yes, that's what I'll do. I'll write in my diary."
Aphmau opened one of the drawers, and found her diary. Grabbing a ink and quill from a desk, she sat down on the couch and began to write.
