"We Laughed..." is the 3rd episode of Aphmau's Year. It premiered on May 26, 2017.

Summary[]
This episode is set seven months after the incident.
Aphmau is busy trying the heal the flower to practice healing magic. She achieves this (slightly) after thinking about a time when she and Aaron splashed each other with water while staying at Love Love Paradise.
The episode then cuts to Garroth, Zane, Kim, and Kawaii~Chan wrapping presents. It is then discovered that Aaron sent Garroth a gift for Aphmau to give to her for Christmas. He was also told not to give it to Aphmau early.
It is then discovered that Aphmau called Dottie, Rylan, and Daniel to discuss the topic of werewolves. She explained that she had called them because she had a werewolf in her life, referring to Aaron. Daniel then revealed that he had already known about Aaron being a werewolf ever since he witnessed Aaron fighting Ein in "Ultima". The trio noticed that Aphmau sounded sad, and she tried not to reveal too many details but explained that Aaron was currently away and she couldn't celebrate his birthday around that time.
Finally, the episode cuts the Sylvanna's house where she is having a Christmas party. Aphmau stays at the party briefly before stepping outside to sit on a bench. Garroth notices her and Aphmau confides in him, expressing how much she misses Aaron. Garroth remembers that Aaron's birthday falls around Christmas, which means Aphmau will have to celebrate both without him. Garroth decides to give Aphmau a present from Aaron. Aphmau unwraps the gift to find a letter and a purple notebook adorned with a heart intertwined with red and purple. The notebook is meant for Aphmau to write stories in, and it serves as a heartfelt gesture from Aaron to help ease her longing for him.
At the end of the episode, Lucinda discovers a book she picked up from the lodge has gone missing. Lucinda tells Garroth, Zane, and Kim, sharing what happened. She suspects that Travis may have taken the book, but she doesn't disclose her suspicions to the others. Lucinda recalls that Travis had a weird reaction when he saw the book, which leads her to speculate that he might have been the one who stole it.
