Woof is Aphmau's plush in MyStreet.
Biography[]
Woof was originally gifted to Aaron by his father to help Aaron not be afraid of wolves. Woof was eventually placed in the attic when Aaron got older. When Melissa was tasked to clean the attic, she put Woof in a box in Aaron’s room, saying whatever Aaron doesn’t take out is going into the trash. The next day, Aaron decided to give Woof to Aphmau, which was conveniently Valentines Day. He told Aphmau that Woof would help her get better grades in werewolf class. The first thing Aphmau did with the plush was give it a hug.
Surprisingly, Woof was able to help Aphmau focus and get better grades in not just werewolf class, but other classes as well. Aphmau then decided to start bringing Woof with her to school, which Ivy started to mock her for. She was later paid by Balto to steal Woof from Aphmau so he could use the plush to bribe Aaron into challenging him. Aaron showed no mercy towards Balto when he started to rip Woof and was thrown into a window. Aaron was then able to give Woof back to Aphmau, who has been looking for the plush all day. She decided not to bring the plush with her to school anymore and then realized that the plush needed a name. She decided to go with Woof.
After Aaron went to college, Aphmau started to "talk" to her plush, which at first looked like she was doing its voice. However, Woof slowly exposed her awareness when she first commented on Aphmau after she left her room and later when she seemed to have walked into the bathroom when Aphmau was attempting to dye her hair.
It wasn't until "An Apology" that Woof had "nothing to say", but she started talking again in "Will He Say Yes?..." after noticing how much pain Aphmau was in. In "Wolf Plush IN TROUBLE!", it was confirmed that she is indeed alive and has a mind of her own. Kawaii~Chan was even able to hear her screaming. She was also shown to be able to cry and wink.
Woof became aware again in "Alone For Awhile", explaining to Aphmau "Thought you could get rid of me, huh?!" Ever since then, she acted as her roommate. When the day came that Aphmau would see Aaron again in "...And Then We Said Goodbye.", she took Woof with her.
Personality[]
Woof is sometimes like an annoying brat to Aphmau, especially when it comes to boys she likes. Deep down, however, she actually cares for Aphmau, feeling bad for her and trying to comfort her when she is upset. If Woof ends up going too far on teasing Aphmau, she starts to feel guilty and tries to make up for it. It was later revealed that it was her duty to be there for Aphmau and make sure she knows that she's loved. She also has a sense of shame, being shown when Aphmau puts her on a baby chair.
Appearance[]
Woof has a round, single-segmented body with nubby legs and a tail that curls upwards. Her face has a muzzle and black, beady eyes with blue pupils. The muzzle has a black nose and a cat-like mouth. Her body is purple while her belly, legs, and face are white. She has purple pointy ears with the inner ears being pink, outlined in white.
When Woof first appeared, she had a pale lavender body. Her updated model is more bright purple and the border between purple and white started to give the appearance of fur. The white tip on her tail is now gone. The model was also given more polygons.
Trivia[]
- Doggo was the unofficial name given to Woof by the fandom before her official name was revealed.
- The name Doggo could have originated from the Undertale character of the same name, since it is known Aphmau is a fan of the game.
- It was unclear whether or not Woof is actually alive. Although as episodes aired, the evidence pointed closer to her being alive.
- She apparently needs beauty sleep.
- In mini-games, she appears to have the ability to turn other people into wolf plushies. It is unknown if this ability is canon or not.
- As of "We Held On Fast...", Woof started to show visible signs of facial expression by sweating.
- In Aphmau's second blooper video, Woof is shown to not only talk independently but run around freely as well. Like before, it is unclear whether or not it's canon. However, if it was canon, then that could've been how it got to Aphmau's house. But at the same time, Woof could have just walked back to Aphmau’s dormitory before one of the characters pick her up in the university episode.
- A popular fan theory suggests that Woof is something in Aphmau's head that only talks to her when she feels isolated from Aaron.
- Initially, it was not clearly known whether Woof was a boy or a girl.
- Woof was later confirmed to be a girl.
- A real-life plush based on her has been teased on Jess' second reaction video on pick up lines. It was later put in stock around the tenth of February 2018, the same day a miniseries aired based on Woof.
- Since her name was said before but not spelled out yet, people believed she was named Wolf. This was proven false in her miniseries.
