The Wyvern Lair or the Realm of the Wyvern or Wyvern Realm, is a location featured in "The Wyvern Elder" in Minecraft Diaries. It is the home of Gaia, Raven and the Elder Wyvern.
History[]
In the beginning, the Wyvern Lair was a part of the Overworld. During the human and wyvern war, which was started by the Shadow Lord, who hoped to invoke the wrath of the wyverns and use them to destroy the humans, an elder approached the Elder Wyvern and proposed to seal the Wyverns in their own realm. The elder human used the staff to create the Wyvern Lair and then hid the staff away so to prevent anyone else from traveling to the Realm.
The elder was a human named Lady Irene, who is called the 'Tamer of Wyvern' and was the founder of Scaleswind. She used her family's riches to create the staff that would seal the Wyverns away. This Lady Irene was outcasted from the people and considered an enemy of humanity for trying to help the wyverns.
Because the human king had wanted war so badly, he ordered all his men to hunt her down and kill her. However, the soldiers, knowing what Lady Irene did for them and their families, threw a revolution and successfully defeated the King. Lady Irene was crowned the monarch of the land, but she disbanded the old monarch and instead created a system which every village had its own leader. She created the name of the lords and established that every lord should have a guardian. She was said to eventually have passed on due to natural causes, but is worshiped today as a goddess. The priest says that she would have made a wonderful queen, but she had not wanted power to consume her.
The staff was later rediscovered by Zenix, who tried to get Aphmau to collect Wyvern Logs for him.
