Xavier, Guard of Light, was a guard during the time of Lady Irene and was the guard of Irene herself.
Biography[]
After the downfall of the tyrannical king and the abolishment of the monarchy, Xavier founded the Jury of Nine in order to protect Lady Irene. They passed judgement on all those who went to speak with her. Eventually, as more Lords came to power and the Lord system became more established, these new leaders needed protection. For this, Xavier established the Guard Academy. It trained new guards to serve alongside the Lords, as well as scouted new candidates for the Jury of Nine. Xavier was recognized during his time as a hero for his service to Lady Irene during the Human-Wyvern war.[1] Even 900 years later, he was honored in the form of statues and legends.
Xavier loved and admired Irene, but so did many others. According to rumors, Irene did not return his feelings. The person who Irene married and had a family with remains a mystery to the people, but Xavier is one of the popular theories.
Appearance[]
Xavier never made an appearance, but he is depicted in a statue bearing Jury of Nine armor, a tall helmet, and a large staff.
