Zenix is a supporting protagonist in Diaries Rebirth.
He serves as Garroth's apprentice guard in Phoenix Drop. He is the first character to find Aphmau and was the one to bring her back to the village.
Biography[]
Zenix was the first to discover Aphmau in the forest. He was a nuisance while bringing Aphmau back to Phoenix Drop at Garroth's orders. Zenix eventually warmed up to Aphmau. He was ordered to help Brendan take down the Lord's house one night, but Vylad appeared and it later resulted in Brendan being gravely injured with a poisoned arrow. Zenix explained that while he was working, Brendan was suddenly shot and he saw the bandit cloaked in green, he attempted to chase, but then flagged down Dale and Garroth instead. Donna questioned where the large bruise on Brendan's face came from, and Zenix said he didn't know.
Appearance[]
Zenix has dark brown eyes and hair. He wears a dark grey helmet and hauberk with gold trim, and black gloves, and greaves with silver trim. His arms and legs have chainmail armor. He has a red cape from Meteli.
Personality []
Garroth describes his apprentice as ill-mannered, as he has the tendency to swear and say inappropriate things. Zenix is playful and very careless or reckless at times, but more often puts up a serious front while in front of his villagers. He's eager to please and impress, becoming flustered and going out of his way to offer to train Aphmau once she complimented him, and he's well-behaved enough to follow Garroth's orders. He enjoys teasing Garroth, pointing out Aphmau's naked body and continuously suggesting Garroth has a crush on her just to get a rise out of him. Zenix appears to have a strong bond with both Garroth and Brian.
Zenix was very paranoid of Aphmau initially, suggesting she may be a spy before suggesting to Garroth that they actually use Aphmau as a scapegoat for the Lord's murder. Though Garroth rejects it, Zenix still attempts to reason with him. He's quite clever and reasonable at times, as if putting up a front. His tone seemed to change upon the news of Brendan being shot while they were out dismantling the Lord's house together.
